Extensive business study done last autumn:

Market situation:Market for traditional fixed telecommunication is not going away

Key market requirements:High quality and high availability products continue to bewell recognized

Product structure:True that we have terminated some products during last years but overall only 650 different items out of 1600 was sold during2002

Implementation:Replacing End Of Life components, buying EOL components to

stock, re-design units, modifications, removals Internal requirements:EOL component follow-up, maintenance work, customer

support

Risks:EOL components, forecasts give no time to react

Conclusion was to extend the Dynanet and PDH life cycle

No major ramp-down risks foreseen for active products, evaluation done twice peryear March and September. In case of ramp-down decision, notification will be given

six months before last order date.
