Speaking on the new business opportunity for i-flex, Kishore Kapoor, Head Marketing ASPAC said, "The introduction of FLEXCUBE Information Center in Malaysia further strengthens i-flex's ability to deliver comprehensive, scalable and customized business intelligence solutions to financial institutions across the globe. In addition, the offering also represents a crucial step in our efforts to deliver virtual banking solutions to financial institutions allowing them to act as a one stop shop for financial services regardless of geographical boundaries". The Virtual Bank is a new model of twenty-first-century banking. In this model, the bank functions as a flexible intermediary who will act as an aggregator, integrator or a trusted advisor providing access to an entire spectrum of products and delivery channels. This new intermediary enables the financial institution to adapt rapidly and effectively to a buyer's market, as opposed to the traditional seller's market of the financial services industry. i-flex will work with its local partner Pernec Technologies to distribute FLEXCUBE Information Center.
