MEMORY

MEMOPET

Memopet is a complementary feed that contains a mix of well absorbing, patented grape extract and wild blue-berry powder (Phenomind 40mg/tabl.). It contains plen-ty of flavonoids and cathecins. Small compounds in the extract pass through the brain-blood barrier and have an influence on cognitive functions in the brain. Micro blood circulation transports oxygen and nutrients into cells, organs and tissues, and removes metabolic waste. The brain gets more oxygen and nutrients to support memory, learning, concentration and vitality. It is recommended to start the use at the latest when a senior dog shows signs of disturbed interaction, house-training, or sleep pattern. The product can also be used to support concentration on sporting dogs, ser-vice dogs and working dogs, as well as on dogs that get stressed easily.

BIOFARM COMFORT EYE DROPS

Natural moisturizer with hyaluronan. Biofarm natural moisturizer is a gentle, preservative-free comfort eye drops for pets’ dry eyes. It contains natural hyaluronan as moisturizer, no sub-stances of animal origin. Thanks to innovative non con-taminating bottle, an opened product has a 3 months shelf life.

Application: 1-2 drops in the eye as needed. Do not touch the eye or it’s surroundings with the bottle.

BIOFARM EYE BATH

Eye bath for gentle cleansing and rinsing of animals’ eyes and eye lids. Sterile and fragrance-free Biofarm eye bath contains cleansing ingredients.

Application: Gently pull the lower eyelid slightly down and put a few drops of the eye bath in the eye. Gently wipe off the impurities and excess eye bath around the eye with a clean cotton ball. Do not touch surface of the eye with the tip of the bottle or the cotton ball.Note: If the eyes are inflamed, consult a vet before using eye bath. If irritation occurs in the eyes when using the eye bath, stop using and consult a vet. Do not touch the tip of the bottle. Close the bottle carefully after use. Use within 4 months after opening.

SKIN AND COAT

HELOMAX SHAMPOO and CONDITIONER

Helomax shampoo removes debris and excess sebum form the coat and skin while leaving the important outer protec-tive fat layer on the skin. Ingredients and almost neutral pH of the shampoo helps to maintain normal protective bacte-ria on the skin especially in atopic dogs.Vitamin E in the Helomax shampoo potentiates the effec-tiveness of the Gammalinolenic acid that prevents develop-ment of the harmful inflammatory mediators in the skin. It also protects EFAs in the product. Natural anti odour ingre-dients in Helomax shampoo remove effectively unpleasant odours from the skin and coat. LIVERON ACUTE

In connection with oxidative stress in all toxic conditions of the liver, on critically ill dogs, and in connection with pancreatitis.

Dosing: Acute liver stressing situations/ acute liver problems: Orally. First dose 140-280 mg of NAC per kg bodyweight (140 mg/kg is the most common initial dose). Then 70 mg per kg bodyweight every 6 hours, at least 7 times.

Vigoron cardio contains several antioxidants to support the well-being of the heart (muscles) and blood vessels. Pycnogenol in a natural vegetal antioxidant which has beneficial influence on the heart and blood vessels function. INUPEKT FORTE

The inulin of Inupekt forte is a natural prebiotic which maintains a favourable bacterial flora in the intestines. Inulin has a positive bifidogenic influence in the in-testines. It cleans out the intestines by reducing the amount of harmful intestinal bacteria and thus leading to a more healthy bacterial flora. Glucan boosts the ef-fect of inulin by inhibiting the attachment of harmful bacteria to the wall of intestines. Glucan also boosts the immunological resistance of body. Pectin cleans the in-testines and solifies the faeces during diarrhea.

FI N-asetyylikysteiini (NAC) on luonnossa esiintyvän aminohapon johdannainen. Siitä muodostuu kysteiiniä, jota tarvitaan elimistön oman tärkeän antioksidantin (glutationi) synteesiin. NAC-lisällä voidaan tukea kysteiinin riittävää saantia syntee- sissä. NAC toimii myös itse suoraan antioksidanttina sitoutuen reaktiivisiin happiradikaaleihin ja vähentäen näin oksidatiivista stressiä. NAC:n käyttö on perusteltua tiloissa, joissa oksidatiivinen stressi on sairauden taustalla kuten akuuteissa maksan toimintahäiriöissä, akuuteissa haimatulehduksissa, veren- myrkytyksissä ja vakavasti sairailla koirilla.

SE N-asetylcystein (NAC) är ett derivat från en naturligt förekommande amino- syra. Ur N-asetylcystein bildas cystein som behövs för syntesen av kroppens eget viktiga antioxidant (glutation). Med NAC-tillägg kan ett tillräckligt cystein intag stödjas vid syntesen. NAC fungerar också direkt som antioxidant genom att binda reaktiva syreradikaler och så minska den oxidativa stressen. Användningen av NAC är motiverad vid tillfällen då oxidativ stress finns i bakgrunden ss. vid akut leverdys- funktion, akut pankreatit, blodförgiftning eller allvarligt sjuka hundar.

ENG N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is an amino acid derivative found in nature. It forms cysteine that is required in glutathione synthesis. Glutathione is an important antioxidant in the body. NAC supplement can support adequate cysteine supply in the synthesis. NAC acts also directly as an antioxidant: it bonds with reactive oxygen radicals, thus reducing oxidative stress.Use of NAC is justified in cases where oxidative stress is involved, such as acute liver dysfunctions, acute pancreatitis, sepsis, or in critically ill dogs.

Kaopekt Forte is a complementary feed for dogs and cats, to be used during acute digestive disorders. Kaopekt Forte is based on the association of three ingredients:• Kaolin has absorbent properties.• Pectin increases viscosity of stool.• FOS has prebiotic properties and promotes growth of physiological intestinal microflora.

ISLAMER

Feed material for dogs. Islamer contains Ascophyllum nodosum -seaweed from cold and fresh waters around Iceland. It contains plenty natural amino acids (building blocks for proteins), vitamins and trace-elements. Sea-weed is also a rich source of iodine. Iodine promotes nor-mal functions of thyroid hormones, thus regulating levels of metabolism. Seaweed is ideal for example during raw feeding to promote the intake of Iodine and other essen-tial nutrients. Note: Natural high level of Iodine in sea-weed should be noted while using it on dogs with thyroid or liver malfunction, and on pregnantanimals.

Ear cleanser for dogs and cats.

MAXIM EYE BATH

Directions for use: Drop 5 – 10 drops in the ear canal. Mas sage gently on the base of the ear for about 1 minute. Let your pet shake the head so that the loos-ened dirt comes out of the ear and wipe the dirt from the ear canal opening. Repeat if needed. Can be used 1 -2 times a week or when need ed. If the ear shows signs of in flam ma tion (red den ing, pus, or the an imal scratch es or shakes his head), con tact your vet er i nar ian before use.


Directions for use: Eyes: Drop plenty of cleanser on the eye. Gather the impurities and excess of liquid on a compress. Repeat if needed. Avoid touching the eye with the nozzle of the bottle.

MAXIM TOOTHPASTE

Toothpaste for dogs with liver taste and enzymes.

Ingredients: Calcium Carbonate, Aqua, Sorbitol, Glycerin, Carogeenan, Propyl Hydroxybenzoate, Flavour, Amylloglucosidase, Glycose Oxidase.

For cleansing the eyes and eye lids on dogs and cats.

Directions for use: Use a brush designed for dogs, or a normal soft brush. Directions for use: Brush the teeth with circular movements, starting from the outside of the teeth. Brush daily or when needed.

MAXIM 2 IN 1 SHAMPOO WITH CONDITIONER

Shampoo & conditioner for all pets, supplying moisture and care to fur and skin. Especially suitable for breeds with long hair, leaving the fur soft, dense and easy to comb.

Complementary feedingstuff for cats. When cats wash their coat by licking, hairballs can be formed in the stomach. This can cause disturbances to the digestion. Cat malt may help hairballs pass through the digestive system, and stimulate also appetite.

MAXIM FORESKIN CLEANER

Eye lids: Clean the eye surround with a compress impregnated with the eye cleanser. MAXIM eye cleanser can be used 1-2 times a week or more often if needed. If the eye shows signs of inflam-mation (reddening, lacrimation, opacity or pain) contact your veterinarian before use.


For cleaning the foreskin on dogs. Please observe if there are infections or oth-er signs that demand veterinary care.

Ingredients: Glycerol, Aqua, Phenoxyethanol, Thymol, Ethylhexylglycerin

Directions for use: Clean the foreskin opening with cottonwool moisturised with fore-skin cleaner. Place a single use canule on the injector and fill with cleaner. Inject cleaner into the foreskinfold keeping the foreskinfold closed. Massage gently in order to distrib-ute liquid fully. Allow the foreskin cleaner to run out, then wipe the opening with cotton-wool. Clean the foreskin once a week, in special cases daily or as needed.

MAXIM BITTER SPRAY

Bitter spray is a bitter solution that prevents licking of wounds, gnawing of coat, plucking of feathers, biting bandages etc. The unpleasant taste will discourage animals from licking the treated areas.

Ingredients: Aqua, Denatonium-benzoat, Benzalkonium Chloride, Potasium sorbate.

Directions for use: Spray directly on the de-sired area/ target. Repeat if necessary. Do not spray in the eyes. Small, quickly disappearing irritation can be observed when spraying on open wounds.

Paw wax for dogs. Protects the pads against water, snow and salt. Reduces also harmful scrathces from gravel or other sharp items.

Directions for use: Apply the paw wax on the dog’s paws. It creates a strong protective film-layer.
