What are the marks of spiritual debilitation, lethargy,laziness, impotence?? (Hebrews 5:11-6:3)

“slow to learn” = lazy in hearing (5:11, 12)

“not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness = lazy in living (5:13-14)

Taking Your Heart’s Vital Signs

It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. (Heb.6:4-6)

What’s going on…?!?!?

Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. For we also have had the gospel preached to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because those who heard did not combine it with faith. (Heb. 4:1-2 )
