PLOT or STORYLINE
Plot is a narrative (and, traditionally, literary) term defined as the events that make up a story, particularly: as they relate to one another in a pattern or in a sequence; as they relate to each other through cause and effect; how the reader views the story; or simply by coincidence.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plot_(narrative) A plot is consist of the things that happen in a
story. My life is my own story that make my life
challengeable with a start since I was born, there are happy moments, there are things that it is hard to understand why it was happened, happenings that sometimes make me shock and problems I encounter and I know at the end every problem that I encounter has a solution.

MY OWN PLOT1c
Exposition- I kept to my parents that I have a
boyfriend last few years in almost 5 months.
Rising action- Our relationship continued until
we reached our 1st anniversary and also continued to lie to my
parents because they don’t want me to have a boyfriend
yet.
Climax- One day my mom talked to me and asked me if I have a boyfriend so I shocked and hundred per cent nervous that almost my heart will run, so that time I don’t have a choice to say yes. She mad at me and very disappointed on what I’ve done. She
wants me to stop our relationship because she don’t like the boy for me that’s made me so very sad. It almost a month that my mother don’t talked to me and It make me felt very bad. I saw
myself a very bad daughter.
Falling action- I wrote a letter to my mom and tell everything why I did that and she wrote too to me and she tell “ the
choice is yours , we only your parents and we want you to be in good but if you don’t like what we want for you then we
have no choice that’s your life but if ever will happen bad to you don’t say to us that we don’t care for you” this line so
made me sad and cried I realize that I am wrong.
Resolution- I wrote again to my mom to say sorry for all the things that I’ve done wrong and from disobeying them. I hug my mom very tight and kiss her on her chicks because I missed her so much that time after she don’t
talked to me. She hug me also and told me that she love me very much and she forgive me that time. I said to myself that I can’t do that again and if I
have a boyfriend again I promise they are first person who knows.
RISING ACTION
In the rising action, a series of related incidents builds toward the point of greatest interest. The rising action of a story is the series of events that begin immediately after the exposition (introduction) of the story and builds up to the climax.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dramatic_structure It is the part of the story that the main
character will face the conflicts of the story. In my own experience as a student today I face
the conflicts in my life like my study because it is hard to study but I know at the end the sacrifice that I do is also for my future.

TURNING POINT
A time when an important change happens. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/
turning%20point It is a the time where there are important
things happen in the story that in some point change everything.
I experienced one time that I have a special someone whom I like and I know he like me too but one day everything was changed there’s a girl who come at the scene of our happiness then boom! Everything was change my special to be one of the person I hate and I don’t want to see again.
3
CLIMAX The climax is the turning point, which changes
the protagonist’s fate. If the story is a comedy, things will have gone badly for the protagonist up to this point; now, the plot will begin to unfold in his or her favor, often requiring the protagonist to draw on hidden inner strengths. If the story is a tragedy, the opposite state of affairs will ensue, with things going from good to bad for the protagonist, often revealing the protagonist's hidden weaknesses.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climax_(narrative) The climax is the part of the story where in the
most intense was done. The most intense scene that I experienced was
when my mother knew that I have a boyfriend and that time I don’t know what to do.

FALLING ACTION
During the falling action, the conflict between the protagonist and the antagonist unravels, with the protagonist winning or losing against the antagonist. The falling action may contain a moment of final suspense, in which the final outcome of the conflict is in doubt.
http://www.yourdictionary.com/falling-action The falling action is the time when we know who
among the protagonist and the antagonist wins. I have an enemy in past few years not that
serious one but we have an argument about something that made me mad of her but after one month I realize that it is not good with have an enemy so I forgive her. Now we are good friends already.
5
RESOLUTION
The dénouement comprises events from the end of the falling action to the actual ending scene of the drama or narrative. Conflicts are resolved, creating normality for the characters and a sense of catharsis, or release of tension and anxiety, for the reader.
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/resolution
It is where the problems or conflicts were already solve.
After a few weeks when my mother know that I have a boyfriend and we don’t talk to each in a week I beg for her forgiveness because I miss already her hug and kisses and I got her forgiveness.

PLOT ELEMENTS: Brain PracticeVrenely Joy S.A RuizBSMT, 2C, Humanities 13Date Completed Mr. jame CabreraCEU Manila, Philippines
I personalize my learning about the parts of literary
plot by completing this three-part activity.
Related Stuff
New concepts learned I know the different parts of the storyline
and their meanings. Examples: The exposition is the beginning of the story The rising action is the time where in the
protagonist face the conflicts. The climax is the time where the most
intense scenes was done. The falling action is the time where some
thing reveal. The resolution is the time in the story
where in the conflict was solved.
NEW INPUTS1
This reminds me of… This reminds me of the things that
happened to my life. I knew that life is like a flow of the story there is the exposition, the rising action, the climax, the falling action and the resolution.
Life is a story like my life, I am the main character there are supporting characters and extras and also there is an antagonist.
CONNECTIONS2
Usefulness in real situations The things that I have learned from this
that I can be use in real situations are: If sometime my little brother ask me
that parts of the plot or storyline I will answer him.
I can share it to other student that can’t understand this lesson.
If there are things that happens to my life, I can distinguish what part of my story is this.
