TRADITIONAL MARQUEES

Available in 30ft, 40ft, and 80ft, they can be increased in modular lengths of 10' or 20' (depending on the width being used). The marquee structures can be linked to form 'L' and 'T' shapes, as well as more complex combinations.

Our traditional marquees are made from fire retardant natural canvas, which is breathable and therefore ideal for flower and agricultural shows.

Wedding at Longleat House

Following an initial ideas brainstorm, we designed the structure in 3D on our sketch program to give Matthew's international clients a full visual of their wedding marquee whilst they began their planning process in Hong Kong.

Building br i l l iance

When Matthew Oliver weddings contacted Danco to provide what could possibly be the wedding marquee of the year, we set to the challenge of designing something classic and unique.

The finalised plan included a transparent pvc radial end with solid window panels and bi-fold doors that opened out onto a decking platform for un-interrupted views across the lake and Longleat House.

The dance floor also had a clear roof panel above it and on the gable end, with mesh sections that encouraged air flow throughout the structure on what was set to be one of the hottest days of the year!

Finishing t ouches

We organised whisper quiet air ventilation units, crisp white floor overlay and a luxury toilet unit as well. The final touches included exquisite furniture, a floral ceiling, and stunning table displays.

We knew we wanted something quite unique and bespoke for our wedding reception marquee and knew that it would take an extra special marquee company to make our vision come alive. Our first meeting describing that

we wanted a radial, glass end, with decking on the outside and with a glass ceiling above the dance floor, AND all of this on a sloped verge, across a lake and opposite a rather resplendent west country house, Danco were not

phased. From design to construction, Danco gave us options, explained the art of the possible and put up with us changing our minds about certain features. We couldn?t have asked for a more perfect end result ? the marquee

was truly stunning and looked incredible in white, gleaming for miles around. A huge thank you to the Danco team for putting up with us and for constructing the most wonderful reception marquee a newly married couple

could have ever asked for!

Cr icket Covers

Winter saw a significant rise in the number of county cricket clubs who got in touch with the Sales Team at Danco, to see whether we could supply suitable temporary structures to cover their practice net areas on a long term hire basis.

We've got you covered

Danco were approached by various local county cricket clubs to provide their players with a covered area to practice playing. We were happy to provide a bespoke solution for them.

Following thorough site visits and bespoke consultations across the UK, we installed our Clearspan marquee solutions which have proven to be a remarkable success for both the players and the groundkeepers.

In order to be suitable, the cricket cover marquees often have to be provided with fully transparent pvc panels on both the roof and walls. Utilising our own range of pvc covers, we are able to install the required structures with ease.

The Danco solut ion

The clear panels have played a pivotal role in the winning formula, not only allowing in natural light for the players, but also in promoting healthy grass growth despite the time of year.

Danco, the supplier of our marquee, did a fine job and ensured we were properly fitted with heating and lighting as well as the marquee. It's been

Royal Count y of Berkshire Show

An annual agricultural show in Berkshire, England that started in 1909 as a horse show, is now over 100 years old and has now grown to be one of the biggest such events in England.

Qualit y service

For what has become a great working relationship based on efficiency, brilliant communication and quality service, Danco are proud to provide structures at such an event like the Royal County of Berkshire Show.

Danco were very proud to provide some of the larger temporary structures for the show. The Show Manager, Laura Priestly-Cooper engaged the team at Danco to look after a variety of their large scale marquees such as the 40m Clearspan cattle tent, the 2,325 sqm craft marquee, and the main shopping pavilion.

The showground team were provided with a detailed build schedule and after nearly three weeks on site built up a great rapport with the assigned foreman and his crew. With care and attention being paid to every part of the installation, both sides were pleased with the completed job and everything ran to schedule.

A successful build

Thank you for all of your hard work on this year's Royal County of Berkshire Show! I am absolutely delighted with how smoothly the build went, and everyone's hard work certainly paid off as we had

a very enjoyable, smooth couple of show days.

PLANTWORX

The UK's premier live showcase event for construction professionals, PLANTWORX 2017, confirmed Danco as their preferred marquee hire contractor. With over 4,500 sqm of visitor 's entrances and exhibitor pods to design and organise, good communication was crucial.

Prem ier service

As PLANTWORX's official preferred marquee hire contractor, Danco were happy to use our experience to ensure this bi-annual event ran smoothly, and on time.

This bi-annual event offers 1 million sqft of construction equipment and services to a target audience of plant and tool hire managers, construction managers, contractors, machine operators and construction professionals.

It 's a varied job for our team, to fully accommodate the clients' requirements we have supplied solid walls / window wall panels, suspended cassette flooring, fully compliant ramps and railings. Some of the structures were secured to the grass sites in the conventional way, with ballast being used on hard-standing.

Safe in Danco's hands

The organisation and provision of more than 130,000 sq ft of marquee space, in frame sizes ranging from 3m to 20m is no easy feat. It required precise timing plans. And exacting health and safety practices. With Danco's experience, we were able to accomplish what was a very successful build.
