THE NORDIC-EAST AFRICA TRADE SUMMIT & EXPO

EVENT BACKGROUNDThe Nordic - Uganda Forum & Expo held in November 2014 marked the inaugural emergence of national business events organised by the Nordic Business Association, to an overwhelming response and interest from investors and decision-makers.

The one-day event addressed some of the pertinent investment issues for Nordic businesses operating in Uganda and those looking for potential new markets in Uganda.

The forum brought over 150 Ugandan & Nordic participants from diverse sectors who enjoyed a series of presentations and speed-dating opportunities that catalysed a number of partnerships.

The event continued to gain momentum with calls to make it an annual event and open it regionally hence this year’s Nordic-East Africa Trade Summit & Expo.

THEME OF EVENT

Two days of interactive experience, compelling content and networking is the beginning. The aim of this event is to create a Nordic-East Africa B2B platform that will share opportunities and knowledge for business growth in the East African market.
