Use this work instruction to view data elements for a selected material. The material master contains material related data elements.

Review approach

1. Display Product species WMS reference tables (internal/external materials)2. Display the material master on SAP.

Important Note :

At the time when the Material Master is created on SAP, the system generated amaterial number.

Other reports that can be used to validate the Material list all loaded.

MM60 – Enter the material type ‘FIBR’ to list all materials loaded fore Fiber supply.

Review Instructions

1. Display Product species WMS reference tables

Open the translation documents (TT Material external / Internal ) attached files

The Product Species maps to a material number. To be able to identify the material aclassification system are used where Characteristic are listed : Grade, Length, diameter, ect.The material will be uniquely identified in the SAP purchase order where the characteristicsValues are entered for relevant characteristics.

2. Display the material master on SAP

Menu PathTo go to the Display Material screen, use the following menu path:

• Logistics Materials ManagementMaterial Master MaterialDisplayDisplay Current

Transaction Code

• MM03





Display Material (Initial Screen)

Read the Product species reference tables (internal & external materials) see Appendix .

Select the product spec (see Internal /External master reference file) you want to validate andenter the SAP material number in the screen.

Press [Enter] or click

Click on the

List of all extended plants , scroll up/down for more plants





Select a plant


Display Material XXXXXXX (Fiber Supply)

If you want to review the Alternative Unit of measures , click on

Click

Click the Units of measure tab.





The Unit of Measure Tab contains the alternate unit(s) of measure andthe conversion factors to the base unit of measure.

See the attached – Alternative unit of measure table to reference to.

Hit the enter button or

Click beside the following view: Classification view





Listed are the characteristics and the Values are potential values are listed to the right.

Hit the Yellow arrow to proceed to next screen (purchasing)





Display Material XXXXXXX (Fiber Supply)

The Purchasing Tab contains the material number, plant , description,base unit of measure, and material group (a code that groups together several materials with the same attributes), purchasing value key.

The material group and Purchase group values resides in the purchasing screen

Enter yes, you are done with the material and now goto the beginning of document and enter thenext material.

Result

You have displayed material master information.
