• Practitioners are not allowed to have any profit of selling medical products

• All prescription of medical products are sent to the pharmacy which then deliver the prescribed amount to the farmer.

• The pharmacy will report all prescriptions to a central database : VETSTAT

• Every farmer has to report the exact number of animals on the farm to a central database– Sows – Weaners ( 7 to 30 kg)– Finishers ( 30 kg to slaughter)

• Calculation: ADD pr 100 animals

• The herd is ordered to reduce the amount used within the following 9 month

• The farmer has to pay a fee of 1000 €

• Authority will visit the herd ( fee to be paid by the farmer )

• Restriction in prescription of antimicrobials for oral use
