Physician Benefits SummaryHealth Insurance - Physicians may choosebetween two different health plans offered
through Cigna after a small waiting period. Ourplan options are an OAP (Open Access Plus) or
an IRS-qualified High Deductible Health Plan(HDHP) with a Health Savings Account (HSA).
Both plans provide preventative care services andscreening coverage at 100% with no cost sharing
for adults and children.
Dental Insurance - Currently offering two dental plans, a dental HMO and a dental PPO. Both
provide 100% coverage for diagnostic and preventative care services when you use providers
who participate in the carrier’s network.
If you chose the DHMO plan you must use an In-Network Dentist and ensure that In-Network
Dentist is a DHMO participant.
Vision Insurance - Vision coverage is offeredand is available after a small waiting period.
In- and Out-of-Network benefits are available. Physicians using an In-Network provider for
annual exams are covered 100%.
Life & AD&D Insurance - Life insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)
coverage are currently offered through VOYA Insurance. This plan offers financial protection for
you and your loved ones. CareMount Medical provides a basic level of coverage for full-time
physicians at no cost.
401(k) Retirement Incentive Savings Program - CareMount Medical Incentive Savings Plan is
currently offered through MassMutual. Eligibility is based off completing one year of employment and
working over 1,000 hours. All physicians, after eligibility is met, are automatically enrolled at athree percent contribution, with the flexibility to change the percentage between 0% - 50%. All
contributions are subject to the applicable annual IRS maximums.

Physician Benefits SummaryFlexible Spending Accounts - A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is a savings account for healthcare expenses. You can set aside money into a Flexible Spending Account using pre-tax dollars to later use for eligible health expenses within the tax year. On average, FSA accounts save you 30% on your health care costs. Funds that you elect to contribute are available for use in full on the first day of the plan year.
Aflac Voluntary Benefits - CareMount Medical offers additional supplemental benefits through Aflac. Annual enrollment opportunities will allow yourself and dependents to enroll in various Critical Illness, Accident, and/or supplemental Short-Term Disability Plans.
CareMount Medical Care Courtesy - CareMount Medical offers you opportunities for savings if you visit CareMount Medical providers. A healthcare courtesy is available to you as well as your spouse, children and parents. *Certain exclusions do apply.
Corporate Discount Program - CareMount Medical offers exclusive discounts for employees and their families to enjoy. Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - CareMount Medical has an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) available to assist you and your family through difficult times. Some benefits will vary for Physicians working less than full time. It is not a guarantee of benefits. Complete plan descriptions may be obtained through the Human Resources Department. Medical Professional Liability Insurance - This coverage is available, depending on the physician's eligibility, either through the group's risk retention group, or one of the other commercial carriers utilized by CareMount Medical.
Physician Personal Third-Party Excess Liability Coverage ("Umbrella Coverage") - Available to full-time and part-time physicians and is designed to respond after your personal insurance policy liability limits ( home owners, auto, etc.) have been exhausted.
Paid Time Off/Holidays - Most CareMount Medical offices are closed on six days per year (holidays). CareMount Medical offers paid or unpaid time off, depending on the physician contract.
Disability Insurance - Short-Term Disability protection is offered by the state and administered for CareMount Medical through The Hartford. In addition, Long-Term Disability Insurance (LTD) pays a portion of your earnings if you miss time at work due to a disability illness or injury. Both STD and LTD coverage is provided to Full-Time Physicians at no cost.
Tuition Reimbursement - Assists CareMount Medical employees in their career development for future positions and helps meet the individual aspirations of the employee. All CareMount Medical employees with six consecutive months of active service are eligible to participate in the Tuition Reimbursement Program. Tuition reimbursement is considered an investment in CareMount Medical employees and gives the opportunity to receive a reimbursement of up to $2,750.00 per year for a full-time employee.
