Symptom

Account assignment category is not transfered to SRM when creating or changing a purchase requisition

Environment

l SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) l SAP enhancement package for SAP Supplier Relationship Management l External requirements, Account Assignment

Reproducing the Issue

1. On ECC, create or change a purchase requisition 2. Verify Shopping Cart created on SRM: Account Assignment Category change is not reflected

Cause

l This is working as designed for the application. Account assignment category is not sent to SRM. l ECC's Account assignment category from a purchase requisition is not sent to SRM and is always determined with the first found SRM

customizing value when document is created on SRM side. The reason is because customizing is customer specific and no general mapping has been developed to convert from OLTP to SRM for the MM document import.

Resolution

l IfyouhaveaclearrulehowtodeterminetheSRMinternalaccountassignmentcategory(forexample,dependingonproductcategoriesorproducts IDs) this has to be developed using BAdIs.

l You can use BBP_ACCCAT_MAP_IMP during import of R/3 Backend documents and BBP_ACCCAT_MAP_EXP during export to R/3 Backend documents.

l Please note that the BADI BBP_ACCCAT_MAP_IMP might not be filled with account assignment type from the backend, but with the values of the used accounting data (e.g. WBS element number) and the already determined SRM category (e.g. CC). This information should be enough.
