Human body perceives temperature differently depending on activity it performs. As a result, comfortable temperature when we sleep is different from that when we are up.

In summer, if in the daytime a 25’C room temperature is generally considered comfortable, during sleep hours a comfortable temperature can be up to 2’C higher.

In winter, while asleep the human body feels comfortable at temperatures that are up to 2’C lower, compared to the temperature generally perceived as comfortable in daytime.
