Wander WallLocated on Railway Terrace, the Wander Wallis a community art project coordinated andinstalled by renowned ceramicist and local,Fleur Schell. The artwork draws inspirationfrom the C.Y. O'Connor pipeline andinanimate rural objects and includes ceramictiles created by community members depictstheir life and connection to Goomalling.

Crystal Serpent SculptureLocated in the Oak Park reserve area of theWalyormouring locality. As part of the Salt ofthe Earth community art project, theGoomalling schools and interested residentsjoined together to create a "crystal serpent",which looks striking when flooded.

Our cafes support local artisans, so makesure you pop in to see their work.

Art TrailLocal and visitingartists have adornedblank walls and spaceswith sculptures,mosaics and murals toetch their mark on ourcommunity. Charcoal Lane MuralsAdmire Toodyay’s public murals in Charcoal Lane behind IGA. Thebright birds mural was completed in 2019, a joint venture betweenToodyay Tidy Towns and the Shire of Toodyay following Toodyay’swin at the 2015 National Tidy Towns awards. Across from the bright birds is the Bushells sign dating back to the1930s. It is situated behind the heritage listed Jager Store whichhas undergone a number of business changes since it was built in1897 as Oddfellows’ Hall. Uniquely ToodyayUniquely Toodyay is a cooperative of local artists and producers.Browse original artworks & creations and discover local produce &products. Uniquely Toodyay can be found in the Old Post Office, abeautiful historic building on Toodyay’s main street.

Wara Art TrailWara Art is a Japanese weaving technique which has been used bytraditional artists to create a number of giant-sized sculptures madeusing locally sourced wheat straw. Designed by the founders of WaraArt Japan, Shingo Miyajima and Masaharu Noguchi, the sculpturesfeature Australian endangered fauna located around York. Trail mapsavailable from the York Visitor Centre and website. Flour Mill PrecinctThe Historic Flour Mill precinct offers insta-worthy motives andfeatures the Flour Mill emporium – a collective of local artists andcraftspeople - as well as the Mill Café, Honey & Fig homewares andgifts, and the speciality grocer Gather York. The Flour Mill is also ahireable venue.  Arts, Antiques & CollectablesYork boasts a number of local artisans, antiques and collectibleshops throughout the township as well as an annual Antiques &Collectables Fair in April. A collectibles trail will be released in 2020and available from the York Visitor Centre and website.
