YOU ARE INVITED TO A GLUTEN FREE TASTE TESTING -- FREE One of our members, Jeanne Baird, the owner of Grandmas Gluten Free Goodies, has brought samples of her wonderful baking to our meetings in the past. Now, she is inviting you to come to sample some of the recipes that are featured in two new cookbooks that she has just published. You will be able to taste samples from these two new cookbooks: GOING GLUTEN FREE & LOVING IT--BRUNCH, BREADS, & DESSERTS and GOING GLUTEN FREE & LOVING IT __HOLIDAYS. Sunday, August 19 th 2:00 – 5:00 pm is the free Tasting Event where you can sample delicious items such as Vietnamese fried spring rolls, blueberry scones, caramel apple scones, and cinnamon crunch scones, lasagna made with homemade gluten free pasta, crispy fried chicken, potatoes au gratin, and several types of Christmas cookies, several tea breads, and a coffeecake. LOCATION: Jeanne Baird lives on the corner of Compton and Vaughn St in The Hunt Club in Gallatin. Her address is 159 Compton, however, if you are using GPS, you should use the address of 152 Vaughn St. Gallatin, TN 37066 to more easily find it. From Nashville, take I-65 North, then exit on TN-386 towards Gallatin. Exit 9 onto State Hwy 31E. Turn right into The Hunt Club on Hunt Club Rd and continue straight through the traffic circle. Then turn right onto Vaughn Rd and continue on Vaughn until in dead ends into Compton. The house is

All of recipes in the BRUNCH, BREADS, and DESSERTS COOKBOOK use Grandmas GF Bread Mix and Grandmas GF Baking Mix, so these GF mixes will also be offered for sale for half price to anyone who purchases a cookbook. There will also be loaves of Grandmas GF white sandwich bread for sale for those who prefer not to make their own.
Grandmas Gluten Free Goodies sells Decorated GF Cakes in addition to other desserts and will be giving away a decorated cake as a door prize. Those purchasing a cookbook and/or Grandmas GF Baking Mixes will have their names entered into the drawing for the GF Decorated Cake.
