Information Sheet - Employment Specialists WorkPlace Leeds Vacancies (2 posts) Introduction WorkPlace Leeds, Leeds Mind, working in partnership with Touchstone and Community Links is a highly successful and innovative specialist employment and job retention service for individuals with mental health difficulties, based in Leeds. 2 full time posts - until 31/03/19 (may be extended). One role to be employed by Leeds Mind and one by Touchstone. Temporary contract in line with core funding for the service –The role involves supporting clients with mental health issues on a 1:1 basis to gain employment. The post will be co-located part-time within one of Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Community Mental Health teams If you answer ‘yes’ to the following this may be the role for you: Do you have experience of working with individuals on a 1:1 basis with complex needs? Do you have experience in working in an employment or mental health setting? Do you have a respectful, inspiring and empowering approach? Are you open-minded and non-judgemental? Do you want to make a difference to people’s lives in supporting them to achieve their employment goals and have pride and passion for this work? Do you have an understanding of the barriers that people with mental health issues may face in gaining employment? Salary: Scale 5 point 22 – 25 (£21,074- £23,111) Hours: Full-Time (37 hrs per week) Base: Both posts will be based at Workplace Leeds.
