Finance 4 Growth series SME Funding Landscape – Meet The Players

Finance 4 Growth

WelcomeEnterprise Ireland is delighted to welcome you to the Finance 4 Growth workshop on the SME funding landscape. We hope you find the presentations and panels useful.

The Finance 4 Growth workshop series is part of Enterprise Ireland’s overall ‘Access to Finance’ activities. The theme of these workshops is that “Technical accounting skills alone are no longer sufficient for our clients to realise their growth potential; the finance function must now be a strategic partner across the business providing the strategic data and analysis required to make informed strategic and financing decisions”. These workshops are targeted primarily at senior management within our client companies and seek to develop the capability of our SMEs to access the various sources of capital they require. Today’s workshop explores the various funding options available to SMEs depending on their stage of development and the pros and cons of the various sources of funding. It focuses on the available sources of equity and debt funding for Irish SMEs and outlines the necessary steps to ensure that an SME is successful in raising third party funding. Please take the opportunity to meet with the various funding providers operating in the Irish market.

Walter Hobbs, Executive Director Investment & Finance at Enterprise Ireland
