WOW WEDNESDAY
This summer, after VBS, Pastor Kathy will be taking day trips with children (Kindergarten thru 5th grade). Most of these trips will be on Wednesday's (with the exception of one) and be an all day deal. i need adults to sponsor and help drive. We have a lot of fun!!! It's important to strengthen our friendship and outreach to our kids and help them know that Jesus is with them wherever they go, no matter what!!! Here are the dates we plan to go:

We're supporting Stuff the Bus with School Supplies by USD 413 Foundation
Please join our Middle/High School Youth group in our effort to help supply the students in our school district with school supplies. After contacting the district there are roughly 1000 students currently enrolled in the middle and high school alone. Our goal, if hit, of $10,000 would cover every student at Royster and Chanute High School in receiving school supplies!
$10 will furnish school supplies for 1 student in our Chanute Public Schools! Help us to be sure that every student starts the year off with a win!

Central Region Camping 2018Registrations for July camps need to be turned in
BEFORE May 31st(to get the early registration fee)
Save $25 and sign up before May 1st if you plan on going to a June camp and before June 1st if you are going to a July camp. All campers MUST BE REGISTERED by 2 WEEKS BEFORE your camp begins or you will not be allowed to go!The Church will pay half of your early registration fee. If you need more help you can apply for a region scholarship (https://abccr-camping.squarespace.com). If you need additional help (especially families with more than one camper going) talk with Pastor Kathy. We want any child who wants to go to cam to be able to go!Here are the camps which we can help with transportation:

BUILDING PROJECT UPDATE: We are very excited about our new greenhouse and classroom/storm shelter space. The educational opportunities the children will have and our ability to connect our faith in God's plan for us through his creations will be powerful!Most of you know building projects often go over budget or funding sources come in under projected income. One of the grants we received was $100 thousand short of what we asked for in our proposals. To enable us to complete the project and pay the contractor's promptly, I am coming to you with this specific need.We need your support to help us bridge the gap. Several of our readers donate generously each month and that greatly helps our operating costs through the year. Contact your church or place of employment to see if they have a match program for charitable giving. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization! We have been offered a challenge...and we have never met a challenge we didn't rise to in over 30 years! We received a $400 challenge pledge provided we encourage others to match that donation before June 30, 2018.So imagine if only 100 people, businesses, organizations or churches helped us meet the challenge, we would raise nearly $40,000 by the end of June to help us lay a solid foundation for 2019!
