Front of Cereal Box: Cover 10 points 1. Cut out letters from magazines spelling the title (2 points)2. Cut out letters from magazines spelling the author’s name (2 points)3. Draw a colorful picture or make a collage of pictures from magazines showing a scene/significant image from the book (6 points)

One side of the box: Ingredients 45 points In a form like ingredients of cereal are listed, list the parts of the story; include:

1. Setting (time and place) (6 points)2. Major & Minor, Protagonist& Antagonist, and Static & Dynamic

characters (18 points)3. Plot (21 points)—3 pts each

Other side of box: Toy 15 points Describe a toy that would go with your story—it can be something used in the story, or it can represent a theme/idea from the story. (5points) Make a picture of your toy on the side of the box under the description (5 points) Make your toy and put it in the cereal box (5 points)

Back of the box: Your choice—be creative! 10 points You can make a maze the character might have gone through to solve the problem. You can make a game about the problem.

Complete information: Summary statement, beginning, middle, end, review, recommendation; show your toy and explain its significance, explain the activities on the back of your box (not just pointing at parts of your cereal box).(5 points)
