A little Bit About our TeacherLinda Gerletti

Linda lived on Lake Como, Italy for 16 years and returned to Scotland with her family for work opportunities. Initially, she taught Italian and now teaches yoga 121, yoga classes, workshops, retreats. Her interest in yoga came from suffering a frozen shoulder for a whole year with painkillers as the only treatment prescribed with no improvement whatsoever.  She  decided in desperation to join a gentle yoga class and within 3 weeks of practicing 3 times a week had a major improvement.  This inspired her to study yoga and she learned very soon that yoga was so much more than just a physical practice. She qualified in 2006 in classical Hatha yoga (500hours) and furthered her studies in vinyasa flow yoga, yin yoga, and pre and postnatal, restorative yoga, yoga for healthy lower backs. She continued to practice yoga and later diversified her studies by learning Thai yoga massage.  More recent, in 2014 she studied Wu Tao Dance which is based on the Traditional Chinese medicine system. Through personal experience and study, she believes that the body desires movement and the mind stillness and to cultivate those qualities will bring peace, health and wellbeing to all who practice!
