We are in God’s image and likeness…
Each has received gifts of the Spirit…
Not by random accident…
But by God’s holy design
The True Self
In God’s holy design…
Our spiritual gifts…
Comprise the core of our “true self”…
i.e., Who we are in God’s eyes
Stewardship of Gifts
Our life purpose…
Is the stewardship or caretaking…
Of God’s spiritual gifts…
To become our true self
The Way to Happiness
Attending to the Spiritual gifts…
Is the way to authentic life…
Contentment and purpose…
And deep joy
Our True Vocation
So attend to the gifts…
Find your true self…
Discover your true calling…
Find your vocation…God’s call for your life
Vocation in Community
Your gifts and your calling…
Are expressed and fulfilled…
In, with, and through the community…
For building up the community
Vocation Intersection
True vocation is expressed…
In the community at that place…
Where your gifts and community needs…
Intersect (think of the cross!)
Find the Intersection
To fulfill God’s design…
For us and the world…
We need to find the holy intersection…
Of our gifts and the needs of the world
Live at the Intersection
Live at the holy intersection…
Sharing your gifts generously…
In servant humility…
Pouring yourself out as an offering
Empty to Be Filled
Pouring out your gifts…
For the needs of the community…
Sets loose the Divine physics…
So you are filled with even more Divine Life
Salvation Equilibrium
By God’s design…
Spiritual gifts are given…
To fill the needs of the world…
To achieve a salvation plan equilibrium
Sharing God’s Mission
So sharing our spiritual gifts…
Is not a “nice thing” we could do…
It is what God designed us to do…
To share in God’s saving plan for all
Designed to Live Christ
