This is a collage of the pins I’ve collected for a board called ‘Maths Resources’ and has 12 pins. This includes different activities for different age ranges of children within primary school. As my Schools Experience was based in a Reception class, I was mainly looking for ideas to do with counting, so that I could plan activities for the children that were appropriate. However, there are also ideas on shapes, calculating sums, learning number bonds, and a rhyme to help children when learning averages.

This is a collage from my boards called ‘DT & Art Resources’ and has 12 pins. I have collected a range of activities such as making trees using handprints, making sock puppets, making mechanical structures using cogs and figures, creating owls out of toilet rolls and making penguins with water bottles and cotton wool. These suggest and give an initial idea which can then be changed and added to find in with a particular project or topic.

This is a Pinterest Board called ‘Geography Resources’ with 15 pins. Here, I have collected a range of hands on and practical activites that I could do with children. For example, a cake that shows the layers of Earth using different coloured cakes stacked up, decorating plates to do with countries which could then be strung up and hung around the classroom, balloon globes, 3D models of countries using salt dough and other displays and poster ideas using things like filter coffee etc.
