2.3 Piping

2.3.1 General Notes on Piping Work(1) Use an anti-corrosion material for the pipes and pipe fittings.

(2) Use pipes and pipe fittings free of interior contamination from grease, oil or othersubstances. Before connecting those piped, completely air-purge their interiors.

(3) Carefully connect the pipes so that there is no leakage from the pipe connectionssuch as the joints.

(4) Use filters or other appropriate pipe fittings to prevent dust, moisture, or otherforeign matter fr om getting inseide the anal yzer.

2.3.2 Type of PipingThe type of piping is purge air pipe.

2.3.3 Piping Connection• These are the pipes for supplying air to the GCIU for purging the inside of the

electr onics section. Usuall y an air pressure of 350kP a or more is required. Thus, use general instrument air as the air supply and do the pipung to the GCIUthrough a pressure regulator fr om the air suppl y.Refer to Figure 2.4 (External Dimensions).

• Use piping of O.D. 1/4 inch stainless steel treated for oil-inhabition.
