Dear Teammates & Partners,

Our SAP implementation is nearing completion and I must congratulate

the implementation partners and internal team, who are doing a

wonderful job. Now is the time for Operations to get completely

integrated and Customer Service to take customer satisfaction to a new

level.

As we discuss it day in & day out, customer satisfaction is ultimate and

nothing should come between us & nothing should come between us

and customer satisfaction. Let us all work together to convert this to

reality.

SME EXCELLENCE AWARD WINNER-2015

AccoladesKarur Vysya Bank- Dun & Bradstreet has awarded eTrans with the SME Excellence Award 2015

in the Logistics & Transportation sector. Mr. S K Acharya received the award from Mr. Jayant

Sinha, Minister of State for Finance 23rd November, 2015 at a ceremony in New Delhi.

New Feather in Cap eTrans Participation

eTrans participated at the “Safety Week” at Joda &

displayed their product & Services.

As an extension to their Pantnagar operation,

Hindustan Zinc Limited has started tracking their

dispatches from Chanderia plant through eTrans

portable GPS. Drivers are given the portable units at

origin and once the vehicle reaches destination, they

are couriered back to origin.

eTrans has taken a giant leap & implemented SAP for all its processes from 1st January 2016

PicnicAnnual picnic of eTrans was held in January at both Kolkata & Jamshedpur. Food, Music & Games flowed

throughout the day. Employees let their hair down with family. eTrans picnic is basically for the spouses &

children, to come out of their mundane schedule once a year and get to know those of other colleagues.

TRAINING SESSIONS

Senior Management & all important managers were taken out

to Diamond Harbour in December’15 for two days’ training on

Personal Development, imparted by the eminent HR Personnel

Mr. Surajit Ray.

Supervisors of Jamshedpur region weregiven a day long training on Leadershipskills in November’15. This was part ofthe ongoing quarterly program toidentify future managers.

DHAMAKA & ACHANAK

Drivers are the real users of eTrans tracking and they need to be looked after by us. As a part of driver motivational

program eTrans organized a “Dhamaka” at Patratu, JSPL parking site and Tata Steel stockyard at Nagpur. Prizes were

given out to the best drivers. All the drivers present on location were given free health check-up. Different games were

played to keep the drivers engaged throughout the day.

Our Infrastructure Assistant Anil Tiwari is seen distributing T-shirts to

drivers as part of Achanak program. Every month sudden visits are

done to swipe stations and gifts are given to drivers who come to

swipe. This is done to motivate the drivers to swipe regularly.

JSPL at Patratu has been an esteemed customer since 2013. Initially outbound dispatches were tracked

through smart cards. Later tracking internal movements of vehicles were also started. Right from day

one, Mr. R N Padhy, Logistics Head, has been a

great support to eTrans. After the initial teething

problems, swipe performance has reached 100%

and been there since August 2014. This was only

possible due to the cooperation of the JSPL logistics

team. When we went to Mr. Padhy to take his

suggestions on further improvement, he was quite

forthcoming. While he expressed satisfaction on the

reports that he gets from eTrans, he wanted to have

swiping details in Mobile Apps. Also he wished to

have a different tracking solution for market trucks,

apart from smart cards, which would be cheap as

well as real time and not driver dependent.

Though he admitted that price has come down a lot in the last few years, but he hoped for a further

reduction, considering the crisis prevailing in the steel industry.

Shreyas Associates is one of the transporters attached with Tata

Steel, Nagpur for movement of goods from Nagpur stock yard.

They have been an eTrans customer for GPS since 2006 and

followed up with swipe card soon after. We met Mr Paresh Ved

to take his feedback on his journey with eTrans. He was

extremely candid in his discussion and expressed that he was

forced by Tata Steel to take up the service. What started as a

reluctant activity, has become a necessity now. It is impossible to

think of running business without GPS. The Nagpur team of

eTrans has been extremely committed and responsive. However,

Mr Ved mentioned just one issue – price of unit.

Lucky STD Booth & Clearing Agent has been one of the oldest Swipe Stations of eTrans

from 2001. Mr. Anaib Singh had opened this Dhaba in 1980 at Lodham border and after a

few years added a STD Booth. He installed

eTrans swipe machine in 2001, when

operation has just started. People had advised

him not to get associated with eTrans, but he

had a gut feeling. Those days BSNL

connection was needed for ePOS machines

and many a times lines used to get disrupted.

Mr. Singh has seen the Company grow to

where it is today & he feels proud. He has

closed his Dhaba two years back when his son

died in a road accident. He only has the STD

booth today.

BHAGWANA RAM (GJ12Z1115) has been a driver for 11

years. He has been able to buy two trucks, one of which he

drives himself, the other being driven by his brother.

Bhagwana, a resident of Barmer Rajasthan, studied till class

X, quit school & became a driver. Slowly he saved some

money and bought the trucks. He mostly takes load from JSL

Jajpur for Rajasthan & Gujarat route. He has two brokers who

provide him regular loads. He swipes eTrans card 5/6 times

enroute. Earlier he would get phone calls from eTrans to

swipe, nowadays it has become a habit.
