NKR — A company on the move!Since its formation in 2011, the National Kiko Registry hasbeen busy registering goats, offering educational and mar-keting opportunities for its clients and exposing hundredsto the benefits of raising hardy Kiko goats. It’s evident thatthe NKR is more than just a goat registry — it is a drivingforce in the meat goat industry!

The first event sponsored by the NKR was the Heartland Conference and Pen Sale in Columbus, Kan., in October 2011.

The National Kiko Registry would like to welcome you to Sedalia, Mo., for two days of educational seminars, fel-lowship with other goat producers and an auction of quality Kiko breeding stock. All of this weekend’s activities aresponsored by the NKR with the goal of promoting Kiko goats as the best meat goat in the world and to give our clientsand those of you interested in learning more about raising, managing and marketing meat goats an opportunity tomeet and mingle with fellow breeders.

The NKR is not an association with members; instead, it is a privately owned registry service operated by a pro-fessional staff and management. It currently provides services to more than 365 clients, including the nation’s largestand longest-running Kiko operations.

The National Kiko Registry was formed in 2011 to meet the needs of the growing Kiko industry. Each month theNKR registers, transfers and DNA tests more goats than all the other Kiko registries combined. In addition, NKRsponsors at least two meat goat conferences each year in various locations around the country with all expensesunderwritten by the registry. Your registration fees are plowed back into the meat goat industry through goat con-ferences and marketing opportunities like this one in Sedalia, free brochures for our clients to hand out, free breederlistings in Goat Ranchermagazine, and more! On Pages 4-5 you will see a roundup of the many events in which theNKR has participated.

Bid via the Internet!The National Kiko Registry’s 2014 Spotlight Kiko Auction & Elite Buck Sale will be broadcast live on DVAuction. You will be able

to view the auction from the comfort of your home via the DVAuction website. View-ers will be able to see each lot as it comes into the ring and place bids by clicking onthe computer. This will be a great opportunity for those who cannot attend the saleto see the many offerings of top-quality Kiko breeding stock. Pre-registration is re-quired at www.dvauction.com before the sale. Settlement will be by credit card im-

mediately following the auction. NKR management will make every effort to help buyers find transportation for purchases madeon the Internet, but ultimately it is the responsibility of the buyer to secure transportation of goats.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE

Sale Conducted by Auctioneer: Should any dispute arise from the taking of bids, the auctioneer’s decision willbe final. This catalog is believed to be accurate as of the date of printing. Additions, substitutions, and deletionsmay be posted to any future edition of this catalog. Any future editions of this catalog will take precedence overthis edition. Announcements from the ring will take precedence over the printed material in the then most currentcatalog.

Terms: 100% — Cash, cashiers check, traveler’s check, business or personal check. A $35 fee will be addedto all returned checks. Visa/MasterCard accepted. A processing fee will be assessed to all credit card pay-ments. The right of the property shall not pass until after settlement is made. All settlements must be made withthe clerks of the sale before any goats will be released.

Certificates of Registry: Buyers will receive a COPY of the NKR registration certificate when settlement ismade. The original Certificate of Registration will be mailed to the buyer by the NKR Registrar within 45 days.

Health Certificates: Will be issued with each animal.

Accidents:Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of Buyers, neither the SalesManagement, Auctioneer or Seller assumes any responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability legal or oth-erwise in the event of accident or loss of property.

Rights and Obligations: The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between theBuyer and Seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following purchase in this sale shall consti-tute a separate transaction and the rights and obligations of the two parties connected thereto are not coveredby the terms and conditions of this sale.

Transportation: It is the responsibility of the buyer to secure transportation of goats. The cost of transportationis the responsibility of the buyer. The sellers will assist in securing transportation and have a list of names andnumbers of those who have agreed to transport animals for profit.

NO GOATS WILL BE LOADED UNTIL THE SALE IS OVER
