TECHNISOIL BENEFITS

TechniSoil is an innovative soil solidification and paving system comprised of customized co-pol-ymers specifically designed to bind with soils and aggregates. TechniSoil is extremely durable and can be utilized in a wide variety of applications. With its numerous environmental benefits and abil-ity to outperform current options, TechniSoil is an excellent choice for your next project.

TechniSoil is a blended co-polymer specifically designed to bond with soil or aggregates in either a cold-mix or cold-spray application.

TechniSoil provides environmentally responsible soil stabilization for pathways, parking areas, primitive roadways, dust control and erosion control.

EPA compliant TechniSoil is harmless to plants and animals and will not contaminate water supplies.

• Preventing soil erosion and air particulates• Creates a natural, solid surface free of cement and petroleum asphalt• Alleviates heat island effect

Using TechniSoil may assist you in obtaining Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification or municipal requirements for your project.

As a cool mix application, there is no need for heat to produce, transport or apply.

TechniSoil is free of toxic petroleum components that are harmful to plants, animals and contaminate water supplies.

By utilizing light, solar reflective aggregates, TechniSoil provides a cool alternative to traditional paving options, such as asphalt.

Alleviate issues that contribute to the Urban Heat Island Effect, smog formation, greenhouse gas emission, global warming and climate change.

TechniSoil can contribute to the following LEED points:

GIB Cr. 9 – Heat Island Reduction MR Cr.3 - Material reuse SS 7.1 – Heat Island Effect – Nonroof

• No specialty equipment required• Environmentally Responsible• No chemicals needed to clean work site or equipment• Designed for easy installation• Can be used with nearly all soils and aggregates• Engineered to withstand thermal cycles• Pliable solution resists swelling, cracking and structural defects caused by extreme temperatures• With proper compaction attains up to 5400 PSI

Preparation: For topical applications aggregates of ½” or preferably ¾” minus are best suited.Smaller aggregate/decomposed granite can be integrated at 25% to attain different color ranges.

Product DescriptionTechniSoil Commercial Surface:A liquid, nano-polymer specifically designed to bond with aggregates.

SUGGESTED APPLICATION:

1. Prepare sub-base to specification. Spread and level the aggregate to grade at a 2-3” thickness.

2. Pre-water surface. Allow 20-30 minutes for water to penetrate (to increase absorbtion).

3. Apply TechniSoil® topically to surface at 20 sf./ gallon. Allow TechniSoil® to fully absorb through the material. 30-45 min.

4. Compact surface with vibratory plate compactor or double drum roller in 2 passes. Allow to cure for a minimum of two hours.

5. Apply TechniSoil® ‘2nd coat’ at 30 sf./ gallon. Allow TechniSoil® to absorb. 30-45 minutes.

6. Apply TechniSoil® ‘top coat’ at 40 sf./ gallon

7. Allow 24-72 hours for surface to cure before use.

It is required that each aggregate is qualified by the supplier in a test area (i.e. 10’x10’) to assure the material and finished product meet client expectations.

In order to assure optimal results please follow the application instructions to detail and “weather & maintenance tips”. Failure to follow the stated application ratios and suggestions will greatly effect the quality of the application.

TechniSoil Commercial SurfaceTopical Application

WEATHER & MAINTENANCE TIPS• Crushed Stone/DG mixes with larger aggregate (1/2”-3/4” diameter) will remain harder in wet weather conditions.

• Please consult your dealer to determine the recommended material for your application.

• Do not apply TechniSoil 48 hours before rainfall.

• It is highly recommended to apply TechniSoil when temperature is 55 degrees or higher. Colder temperatures will

increase cure time.

• Clean equipment with water after usage.
