Step 1: The Meeting

1. Meeting run by programme managers supported by quality nominee.

2. Discuss roles in BTEC Quality assurance process (especially of IV)

3. Create the programme team and assign roles 4. Look at diagrams in Planning/assessment process5. Look at forms related to the process6. Fill in forms:

• Assignment brief using Pearson specification and Units

• Send assignment briefs to Programme leader for feedback

Step 2: Assessor and internal verification (IV) meeting

• Assignment briefs internally verified (link to IV assignment brief)

• Joint work of assessor and IV • Plan internal verification schedule • Check compliancy with internal verification checklist
