Garelochhead is only a few minutes’ drive away and offers a good selection of local amenities with shops, a primary school and health centre. The nearby Royal Navy base at Faslane is a major employer in the area and is only a ten minute drive away. The larger seaside town of Helensburgh is approximately twenty minutes’ drive and offers a wide selection of shops and supermarkets, bars, restaurants, delicatessens, a post office, banks and other amenities including two train stations with services to Glasgow, Edinburgh, London and the north. The area is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast with great sailing on the Gare Loch and the Firth of Clyde and together there is fantastic scenery all around.
