| NOV | 2015 What’s NEW with NCHEA? NEW ADDRESS NEW BOARD NEW CHAPTER ADMINISTRATOR NEW BOOTH PROCEDURE NCHEA 2608 Erwin Rd. Suite 148 PB236 DURHAM, NC 27705 NEW ADDRESS Even though so many of registrations and payments are done online these days at www.nchea.com, we still need a “physical address” to mail checks and submit applications for NCHEA certifi- cations. NCHEA has had the Charlotte address for many years. In the recent past, we’ve had more problems than suc- cesses with that mailing location. So now we have a new mailing address in Durham, NC. Please be patient with us as we change all correspondence and forms to that new address. NEW CHAPTER ADMINISTRATOR Dona Noblett ABOUT 18 YEARS ago my then boss, Robert Guerry, former director of Engi- neering & Operations at Duke Medical Center, introduced me to the North Car- olina Engineers Association. (NCHEA) Many changes at Duke and with NCHEA throughout those years. Robert was the Program Chairman in 1997, and since I had just started working for him, asked if I wanted to help him work on a brochure and help him out that year. That’s how my association with NCHEA started. Although my job at Duke ended this year, my association with NCHEA has expanded. Knowing I was leaving Duke, 2015 President, Terry Fair talked to me about becoming NCHEA’s first Chapter Administrator. After many meetings and votes, in October 2015 I signed a contract with NCHEA. If you have been on the NCHEA board, we’ve probably worked together at one time or another. If you’ve never met me, I’m usually behind the scenes at events you have attended. If you have been to a NCHEA Spring Seminar or NCHEA An- nual Conference, I’m the voice “behind the curtain” in the registration area. I’ve been very active in Event coordination, Graphic Design and I’m happiest when I’m juggling a lot of work and when I work with people I really, genuinely like. Lucky for me, I still get to do this. With NCHEA I have had the pleasure of working with some of the top Health- care Engineers and Speakers in NC and the nation. Along with my new position, we are making a few changes that we hope will help with help NCHEA processes. I look forward to working with all the NCHEA members. - Dona Noblett NEW BOOTH PROCEDURE Gary Milewski 2016 Vendor Chair All NCHEA members should have just received the new NCHEA 2016 Sponsor- ship Preview. We are going back to the system that you have to pay for your booth when you register. We will be using legacy and sponsorships for placement and assignment. Contact Gary at anytime if you have questions. Booths open for sale April 6, 2016 [email protected]
