their skills in reading, research, and information literacy.
WHEN CAN YOU VISIT THE MEDIA CENTER? With your class During the day, with a signed pass to
include the date and time from your teacher

HOW TO SEARCH FOR BOOKS Find the Web Safari logo on the desktop
You can search by a book’s subject, author, title, or keywords
HOW TO SEARCH FOR BOOKS
Click on the name of the book you want to see if it’s available
Use the call number to help you find the book on the shelf
CHECKING OUT BOOKS
Use the self-checkout station on the circulation desk
Click the Check Out button
CHECKING OUT BOOKS
Enter your patron ID # (your lunch #)
It will ask are you…? Click yes if it has found you
Scan the book’s barcode label on the back cover
Click yes when asked if you want to check out this item
HOW LONG CAN YOU KEEP YOUR BOOK? For 14 days One renewal Three day grace period before fines
begin Fines: 10 cents per day Students who don’t pay fines or turn in
books will NOT receive a report card
CHECKING IN BOOKS Use the self-checkout station Click the check in button Scan the book’s barcode label Place your checked in book on the cart
by the desk
