In 2013 I published the article “Individual differences in the second language classroom: A comparison between multiples intelligences theory and learning styles” in . I continued intensive research on a doctoral dissertation which is 400 pages in length. The topic is related to improving interpersonal communication in English language education. I drew upon a multiple of sources for the research and administered questionnaires to universities in Russia, China, Ghana, and Saudi Arabia as part of this research. The data was compared with data obtained at Ibaraki University. I expect to publish research findings in 2014.
I assisted the Mito International Association with an exhibition about Slovakia which many people visited, including the Slovak Ambassador and Mayor of Mito. I served as a judge of an English speech contest for high school students at Ibaraki National College of Technology in Hitachinaka.
