2. Quality Policy:

It is the policy of Dawood Contracting LLC to distinguish itself as the industry leader by providing superior, cost effective, and quality services to its customers. The quality management system is continually monitored and evaluated for its applicability, effectiveness and establishes quality objectives and opportunities for continual improvement through Internal Auditing, Management review of performance trends. To achieve the goal we will:

Identify our Customers’ needs and supply to the agreed standard, every time.

Provide a safe working environment and ensure that the appropriate resources are assigned to working areas.

Improve productivity through continuous improvement. Ensure that the quality system is maintained and reviewed on regular

basis.

3. History: Dawood Trading & Contracting Est. established in the year 1975. It is a leading construction

company in Sultanate of Oman with a work force of around 1300 employees. Its construction

division has successfully completed many private and public projects of different types and

sizes. In the year 2000, a new separate company under the name of Dawood Contracting

LLC was formed to focus only in the construction activities and to continue the legacy of the

previous construction division of Dawood Trading & Contracting.



Our management team is diverse, with significant experience in all facets of our operations

and all our people are professionally qualified individuals. We believe the foundation of our

success lies in a commitment to understanding and meeting our clients’ requirements for

safety, honest, hardwork, on-time delivery and value-for-money.

At Dawood Contracting, every building project is important and every project will receive our

utmost care and attention. This attitude is adhered to at all levels of the company.

The company has developed numerous luxury apartments, villas at prime locations in Sohar

and we received laurels for the exemplary works.

The company has received the ISO 9001:2008-Quality Management System

certification which covers the construction of Buildings & Civil works.

The global market demands of the ISO quality standards, the ISO 9001 certification requires

a company to have clearly defined and documented policies and procedures for preventative

and corrective measurements and actions throughout its organization. VQMI performed the

assessment in the month of June 2010 and certified as ISO 9001:2008-QMS Company.

By receiving the ISO 9001:2008 certification, DCC has attained one more milestone in

quality management system. DCC goal is to continually improve and have an impact on

quality in every step and process of our company.



4. Registration: The Company has registered with the Tender Board as Excellent grade Construction

Company. It also registered with most government institutions.

6. Safety Measures at DCC :

Dawood Contracting follows the Safety requirements and has set up the system that shall be followed in all projects. All work procedures of safety matters are prepared and submitted to the clients for

review which consist of:

• Hazard detection.

• Hazard and accident prevention.

• Accident remedy.

• Accident, incident, near miss follow up
