Last year’s Resolution

• We the delegates of the Hindu-American mandirs at HMEC will help in all material ways possible to accelerate the restoration process of Hindu heritage sites world over. In particular, we appreciate and whole heartedly support Dr. Animesh Sinha efforts in preserving and restoring the sites of Braj.



Action Item 1

• Hindu Seva Diwas• Objectives:

– Conduct Seva activities in large number of mandirs on a single chosen day

• Lead:– N Srinivasa, SV Temple, Pittsburgh PA



Action Item 2

• Name: Developing Software and Web-services for Mandirs

• Objectives: – Apply readily available state of the art

software technology to streamline routine mandir operations

• Lead:– Ravi Kunduru



Action Item 3

• Name: Training Camps for Hindu Ambassadors in Different Mandirs

• Objectives: – Develop training program for mandir adults &

youths on essentials of Hindu Dharma and Hindu society, so that they can effectively articulate the richness of our traditions to the larger public.

• Lead:– Ram Belagaje, Raja Babu



Action Item 4• Name: Distribute Hindu Text Book

Supplements to US School Districts• Objective:

– Distribute Text Book Supplements on the History of India prepared by Hinduism Today School Districts in USA.

• Name: Samskar Manual for Young Couples

• Objectives: – Write a clear, simple and attractive book on

Vivah Samskar. • Lead:

– Establish Hindu Mandir Youth Network in USA.

– To develop a knowledge database on problems and solutions that can be accessed by those seeking expert advice on mandir matters

• Name: Health Share Pool for Mandirs• Objectives:

– Launch the Health Share Pool program for mandirs to server 1000 individual members

• Name: “SANATAN DHARMA SCHOLARSHIP FUND”

school and college students to foster interest in study of Sanatan Dharma
