Mr. Lucas Lammott began his career at the age of seventeen, apprenticing under Master Technician, Mr. Charles Upham, at his dental laboratory in New Hampshire. As a novice Technician with an innate knack for detail, Mr. Lammott studied Tanaka Anatomy, quickly falling in love with the art of Dental Technology. After taking a brief hiatus from the dental industry, he became passionately involved in the world of Musical Artistry in Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Lammott eventually found his way back to the Dental Technology field, while also encountering a few obstacles; after working in a few dental labs, which felt more like factories, he was nearly ready to throw in the towel. Eventually, Mr. Lammott ended up in Chicago, IL, where the tide turned. Upon seeing the first photograph of his restorations inside a patient’s mouth, he was struck with a great epiphany: he was creating a piece of someone’s body. This was the spark that reignited Mr. Lammott’s passion for the industry he had grown to love, inspite of the disappointments and setbacks. In 2012, Mr. Lammott moved his family back east, where they now reside in the

sea-side town of Gloucester, MA. He is currently the Lead Technician and Manager for an up-and-coming laboratory in Woonsocket, RI, Rovati Dental Arts. As a member of the Dental Technicians Guild, Mr. Lammott has had the opportunity to demonstrate his techniques and network with other masters of the craft that he has been called to. Mr. Lammott believes in the idea that Dental Artistry, and in essence, the entire field of Dental Restoration, is all about the “possibility” of what can be. He believes that nature is an endless fluctuation, ever-changing and sometimes tumultuous; not unlike the sea he looks upon every morning. Nature is beautiful and difficult to replicate, but not impossible, as long as one has the right tools and an ability to perfect the subtle imperfections which make every smile perfectly unique.
