From the Commodore…. Hello Fellow RSYC Members. Many thanks to Ray, Jeff, Barb, Marlene and everyone else who helped with the May Outing. The Derby Party was attended by 16 members. Another heartfelt Thank You to Marlene for making her World Famous Derby Pie to Raffle off which Rita Bird won! Linda Bales won the Split the Pot. The winners of the Race were First Place; Debbie Hoffer, Second Place; Kathi Donigian and Third Place; Barb Goff. Way to go Ladies! There was a four way tie for the Hat Contest with Linda Turpin, Debbie Hoffer, Barb Goff and Ri- ta Bird. This was settled by a random drawing that Linda Turpin won. Congratulations to all the winners! Back by popular demand: next month is our Seafood Boil/Filet Mignon dinner at Lighthouse Point Yacht Club on June 8 th . Chef Dennis Rorabacher will once again make the delicious Seafood Boil. The festivities will start at 3 with a Caricature Artist from 3:00 – 5:00. We will also have a CornHole Tournament starting at 3:30. Meeting will be 5:30 followed by dinner around 6:00. This would be a great opportunity to invite your fellow boater, family and friends and let them get a taste of what RSYC is all about. Due to the cost of the food we need to prepay for this outing. It will once again cost $20 per member and $25 for nonmember. Please send your check and select either the Seafood Boil or Filet Mignon (8 oz) to Mike Hoffer 755 Bram- blewood Loveland, OH 45140. We need a head count by Wednesday, May 29 th to order the food. You can also respond to the Evite that Ray Goff will be sending out. As we prepare for the boating year this would be a great opportunity to let our neighbor know of the discounts that being a RSYC member can do for them. Thank you Riverwatch and Hern Marine for your support. Yours truly, Linda Rothert www.rsyc-indiana.org Founded 1954 May 2019
