The next rabbit hole - or not?

“Overunity” - A generic term for any type of energy production in conditions that the known laws of physics dictate should not be able to produce. The claimed output of energy as the output is usually greater than the recognised input Energy efficiency greater than 100% in any system is theoretically impossible because an energy source can only produce as much energy as it contains. When total energy produced exceeds the total energy that a given “system” ought to produce based on known principles, the excess energy is called “overunity energy”.

Inventors and hoaxters have claimed to produce overunity energy almost since humanity first discovered fire and steam, and every year several reports of successful overunity generation appear in the press. Few if any claims of success have

As predicted by Physicist Peter Higgs nearly 75 years ago but only recently proven to exist, our universe is submerged in a sea of “Higgs Boson Particles” that only could be measured after spending $15 billion dollars to build the Large Hadron Collider and

then testing hundreds of millions of collisions of sub-atomic particles. As Professor JR Searl most famously stated:

“Nothing is impossible except the state of mind

that makes it so” ! The carbon based energy industry's official position is that overunity energy is impossible to produce. However, ongoing research such at that above and continuing advances in our understanding of physics are producing new, explainable discoveries of natural phenomena that would appear to us today to be instances of overunity generation. Another example could turn out to be a variation on cold fusion energy. Many respected scientists still believe that cold fusion is a viable example of overunity energy that will eventually be explained by some of these new discoveries in physics.

Overunity involving HHO production from H2O, Hydrogen Fuel on Demand, Free Energy Devices, Zero Point Energy, Gravity Engines, Permanent Magnet Motors, and Pulse Motors are all potential rabbit holes or new paths of discovery and opportunity.

Most strange is that these technologies are not commonly found in the public domain for discussions on vehicle propulsion or static gensets for that matter although one finds some of them on sites that are considered “fringe” and there are a few blogging sites. You are more likely to hear about green fuels or an environmentally friendly vehicle. These sites usually are about road motor vehicles that produce less harmful impacts to the environment than comparable conventional internal combustion engine vehicles running on gasoline or diesel, or that use certain

alternative fuels. Presently, in some countries the term is used for any vehicle complying or surpassing the more stringent European emission standards (such as Euro6), or California's zero emissions vehicle standards (such as ZEV, ULEV, SULEV, PZEV), or the low-carbon fuel standards enacted in several countries.

Green vehicles can be powered by alternative fuels and advanced vehicle technologies including hybrid electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, battery electric vehicles, fuel-cell vehicles, neat ethanol vehicles, flexible-fuel vehicles, natural gas vehicles, clean diesel vehicles, and some sources including vehicles using blends of biodiesel and ethanol fuel or gasohol. A combo configuration will also include range extenders.

A new innovation is the diesel and hydrogen blend with compressed hydrogen stored in the vehicle and managed by the vehicle’s ECU. These technologies are immerging mainly because of fuel tax regimes and also restrictions on dirty fuel in areas such as congestion zones or clean zones.

January 1, 2023, nearly all trucks and buses in the UK will need to have 2010 model year engines or equivalent. In the picture to the left are HHO injection units mounted in tugboats in the Great Lakes and Chicago, a dual fuel hydrogen van by Revolve Ltd UK, and a compressed air car from France.¹ An environmental analysis extends beyond just the operating efficiency and emissions. A life-cycle assessment involves production and post-use considerations. A cradle-to-cradle design is more important than a focus on a single factor such as energy efficiency.

Yet to appear on the vehicle horizon is the “free” engine fuel device. The nearest to it might be Audi’s project to offer the world's first industrial-scale plant to convert CO₂ and renewable electricity into a synthetic natural gas that can be fed into the natural gas network. This power-to-gas technology opens up new possibilities for sustainable mobility and the energy economy of the future. However it is not a true “free” system clever though none the less. It operates by matching the gas used and replacing back to the grid that amount of fuel used, so technically it’s a Natural gas vehicle, using gas offsetting, and will require a home compressor.

“Free energy” Device A “free energy” device is one that creates energy in an open system. This means that the physical device is open to take energy from around its environment. Our educational institutions and mainstream science have perpetuated the idea that these systems cannot be created. However as now has been confirmed in the Higg’s boson particles above, people are waking up to the fact that not everything on planet Earth is as it seems, and new truths are starting to infiltrate the consciousness of the masses. It is very likely that” free energy” devices do exist or are possible. The energy is extracted from what we call ‘space time,’ it’s the energy all around us that we can’t see. A “free energy device” like this challenges the thinking that all energy devices must have a meter on them,, that they cannot be measured and that no price tag can be put on the energy they draw..

Conventional physicists do not believe that overunity energy production is possible. They have long criticised the existence of so called free energy devices, ridiculing them as “perpetual motion machines.” Today, even the U.S. and European Patent Offices routinely reject patent applications that claim an invention that operates with over unity energy production, even if the examiner is presented with evidence of the working machine. It seems that the Patent Offices are more interested in genuflecting to physics community mainstream beliefs than they are in carrying out their mandate for public service which is to provide Patent protection to novel inventions that could play a useful role in the social economy. This particular attitude of the physics community and Patent Office administrators stems from their religious adherence to the First Law of Thermodynamics. This law states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, only converted from one form into another. In this blind adherence, physicists ignore the most obvious and immense example of First Law violation, namely the creation of the physical universe and its continuing expansion at increasingly greater speeds apparently gathering energy where none has ever been measured or thought to exist.

Magnetic currents and effects are another area of rapidly evolving technology and discovery. The whole subject offers as vast a field for pioneering research as electricity did a century ago. And now, as then, an amateur experimenter puttering in his basement stands as good a chance of making an epochal discovery as does a distinguished scientists in a great laboratory.

Before magnetic currents could be put in harness, of course, a myriad of questions about their behaviour remain to be studied and answered. So far, no one knows whether they can be led through wires, like electric currents, as well as through conducting liquids. If so, the wires might be of entirely different materials than the best conductors for electricity. Likewise, the most effective insulators for magnetic current might be substances totally unlike those used for electrical insulators.

The magnetic technology is derived from the Searl Effect Generator (SEG) concept and other functional confirmations of it will be examined as well its applications toward the next generation of clean generator and motor technologies.

The Searl Effect was discovered by John Roy Robert Searl in 1946. Put simply, it is a method of extracting clean and sustainable electrical energy.

The SEG consists of three fixed stator rings that are uniquely magnetised with patterns setup to generate continual motion of similarly magnetized cylindrical rotors. The magnetic rotors or rollers consist of eight segmented components made of the same four layers of concentric materials that make up the stators. The rollers have both freedom of spin and rotation around the stator which generates both mechanical and electrical power.

The SEG is an 'open system' of energy conversion that is in accordance with known thermodynamic laws; particularly as it may apply at the quantum level. The open energy cycle of the SEG enables it to function both as a prime mover of mechanical rotors, but more so as an electrical generator that continuously interacts and processes energy from the natural environment.

An Aetheric Future If the Higgs boson particles and other forces in the aether is what partially and truly powers an electric circuit, it means that mainstream science has gone extremely off-track over the past hundred years. To get back on track as these quantum particles and forces have now been found to show, we would need to admit the existence of the aether, study its properties, and figure out how it can be harnessed and manipulated - or captured from the environment to produce free energy! From Tesla's writings, it seems like aether acts like a highly compressed gas. With his Tesla coil he was able to first isolate the aether (pure voltage) from the current, and then magnify it with his secondary spiral or pancake coil to produce a gain of energy. If this is possible, then there must be many ways to extract energy from this limitless source that fills the universe. Like Peter Higgs, we simply have to open our minds to see and find them. This 'cold' form of electricity (devoid of electron flow) has many unique properties that are being demonstrated on a regular basis by multiple inventors. For example, when hooked up to an antenna (like the sphere on top of a Tesla coil) it can transmit power wirelessly via longitudinal waves. These waves can then penetrate Faraday cages, unlike conventional transverse waves. Also, aether flow or 'cold electricity' can be used to transmit power down one wire for long distances, in a way that would not be possible with conventional current. In addition, it does not 'burn' like hot electricity, in that individuals have used it to illuminate light bulbs underwater, without getting shocked. If mainstream science took the time to study and understand the properties of the aether flow, it could allow for a new technological revolution to take place. Not only could we extract free energy from the environment instead of burning fossil fuels, but we could build devices custom-engineered to work optimally with cold electricity. Until those devices were broadly proliferated, we could simply extract energy from the aether, convert it from cold electricity to normal electricity (with electron flow), and use it to power the grid. Of course the aether is suspected to be involved in more than just electricity. It is suspected to be involved in gravity, inertia, and perhaps even time itself. Perhaps the UFOs flying through the sky are somehow manipulating the aether, and as a result producing a propulsive force. Technologies that utilise the aether could be what takes us to the stars! Another way to look at the situation is that until we really understand the aether, we cannot have a true understanding of any of the forces of the universe. For example, scientists today cannot tell you, for sure, exactly what is the 'stuff' that composes a magnetic field or an electric field. They may claim something about 'virtual photons' flying in and out of our dimension, but they really do not know for sure what is taking place. If they studied the aether, they may be able to come up with an answer. Instead, we are being kept in the dark by Pre-Higgs Boson mentality scientists who refuse to look at 'outside of the box' ideas.

Implementation - Converting Renewable Energies into Gas

The Audi e-gas Project The Audi e-gas project represents the company's first step towards producing sustainable fuels. The company is currently building the world's first industrial-scale plant to convert CO₂ and renewable electricity into a synthetic natural gas that can be fed into the natural gas network. In the northern German town of Werlte in Emsland, the company is currently building the world's first industrial-scale plant to convert CO₂ and renewable electricity into a synthetic natural gas that can be fed into the natural gas network. This power-to-gas technology opens up new possibilities for sustainable mobility and the energy economy of the future.

It is operated by renewable electricity, e.g. from wind, solar power or biomass. With a rated input of around 6,000 kW, the plant will primarily procure electricity from wind power when there is short-term oversupply.

In the plant, the renewable electricity will first be converted to hydrogen (Audi e-hydrogen), the fuel for future fuel cell vehicles such as the Audi Q5 HFC, by means of electrolysis. However, the necessary hydrogen supply network is not yet in place. Audi uses another innovative process step to solve this problem. The hydrogen is combined with CO₂ in the methanation facility downstream of the electrolysis plant to produce synthetic renewable natural gas – Audi e-gas. From there, it can then be fed into the natural gas network and stored within that system.

The CO₂ comes from a biogas plant. The input material for the biogas plant is not energy crop plants, rather it is organic waste. This avoids any sort of competition with food production. The Audi e-gas facility uses the CO₂ as a feedstock for the fuel. Audi e-gas is thus a climate-neutral fuel – when burned in the engine, exactly the same amount of CO₂ is released as was previously bound at the e-gas plant.

The German energy industry could also benefit in the medium term from the concept of the Audi e-gas project, as it provides an answer to the unsolved question of how to store green power efficiently and independently of location.

The potential of electricity-gas cogeneration to store large amounts of wind or even solar energy can provide powerful stimuli for the expansion of renewable energies. The Audi e-gas project can be easily implemented in all countries with existing natural gas networks.

Beginning in 2013, the plant in Werlte is projected to produce roughly 1,000 metric tons of methane a year, binding 2,800 metric tons of CO₂. This equates roughly to the quantity of CO₂ absorbed annually by 224,000 beech trees. That amount of renewably generated Audi e-gas could power for example 1,500 Audi A3 Sportback TCNG vehicles for 15,000 kilometers per year in CO₂-neutral driving.

The foundation stone for the Audi e-gas plant was laid in September 2012. As the owner, Audi is building the plant in collaboration with plant engineering contractor SolarFuel GmbH. Production of e-gas will begin in early 2013. The synthetic gas will then be fed into the public gas distribution system from summer

And what’s the future for Telematics if Overunity is developed?

It still has a role but certain applications will be of less value. Driver behaviour monitoring for fuel management will be of less importance whereas ADAS will be used by vehicles to manage their alternate fuel.

The technology adaptively controlling the vehicle’s speed, revs and acceleration rate to help reduce fuel, accidents and insurance costs. Applications range from simple top speed limiting and rev band management through to road speed sign adherence otherwise known as "Intelligent Speed Adaptation” (ISA) or Active Speed Control. Airmax’s telematics system also records events and report the vehicles DTC’s (trouble codes) and a plethora of telematics applications. The combination of both technology subsets is very compelling and a powerful tool for those accountable and responsible for fleets.

High speed is a key factor in car accidents. For many years, traffic calming and police surveillance have been the methods to reduce the speed of the cars. However, the development in intelligent transportation systems (ITS) has led to the development of speed reducing systems. The general term for these systems is "Intelligent Speed Adaptation" (ISA). The Airmax telematics system establishes the position of the car, and the position is compared with a digital roadmap which contains the local speed limits. If the local speed limit is exceeded the system responds to a speed within the law.

The data is derived from proven maps sets from Nokia and the map database applications will sit both within the vehicle’s on-board unit and Airmax’s telematics hosted platform. These applications are seen as a game changer technology and will have a major impact on User Based Insurance (UBI) but also on dual fuel engine management. Gone are the days when PAYD or more latterly PHYD schemes was used as a risk tool to calculate insurance premiums. Now regardless or vehicle make or performance the Airmax unit will ensure that the vehicles will stick strictly to the legal speed limit.

Consumers are yet to experience autonomous driving assistance systems and may be wary. However this will change as the benefits are explained, experienced and valued. There are several alternatives that could be offered:

1. Advisory- a simple device that tells the driver the speed limit and warns when exceeding it 2. Controlling – a hardwired embedded device so that it becomes impossible to exceed the speed limit 3. Discretionary – a half-way-house where you can switch between the controlling and advisory or even switch it off

altogether 4. Override features to ensure that the driver is always in control. This may take the form of a switch, pedal control or control

screen. The event being recorded by the telematics system or instigated remotely 5. Immobilisation- setting the speed to zero 6. Idle Control. When the system is active and the vehicle has been idling for more than a minute, or if the driver has applied

the handbrake, the unit will shut down the engine 7. Zoned and only activates in Zones such as congestion charge areas 8. Towing Speed Limiting - Will reduce the maximum speed to the permitted limit for the vehicle / trailer combination. 9. Anti-theft and Hijack Facility – halts or slows the vehicle after a pre-defined time or remotely via Airmax’s telematics link 10. Driver specific management- links the vehicles performance to the drivers skill set using identification from RD ID tags 11. Additional applications to the ACPO One Box and ‘Restore’ initiatives for police and emergency service vehicles

Airmax’s autonomous driving assistance systems have been achieved this by adding applications from the HERE™ data sets obtained by using API’s and scripts from Nokia. HERE Maps are based on the world-class NAVTEQ™ mapping data used in 90% of in-car navigation systems in the world - welcome to the world of Augmented Reality for motorists.

The Electronic Horizon module retrieves a configurable number of attributes from the digital map in the vicinity of the vehicle. The current vehicle position is estimated by a GPS receiver, which is connected through the Input Interface, and then matched on a road segment in the digital map. The module gets also information about the "Most Probable Path" of the vehicle. Along this single path, the attributes of the road segments are extracted. This pre-processed Electronic Horizon is then filtered in a second step, the Electronic Horizon Post Processing. Here the available data is filtered due to the requirements of the connected applications. The Electronic Horizon Post Processing includes also demonstration software to visualize the Electronic Horizon as shown above. The module can be enhanced with additional sub-modules,

e.g. a speed estimator that is calculating a predicted speed profile for the road segments ahead of the vehicle.

Therefore, a two-way approach is used. First data from the vehicle's bus system is analysed to determine a categorised driving situation. E.g. if the vehicle comes close to a crossing, the system has to decide, which way the driver intends to go. Taking into account turn signal information in combination with the current vehicle speed and distance to the decision point, an intelligent algorithm proposes the way of the vehicle at this crossing. In a second step, a complete route can be proposed by taking into account the currently driven road segments and comparing these to stored routes in the Past Experience Processing database. Particular patterns, which occur in a defined accumulation, are compared and used as a decision criterion, which route the driver probably intends to take.

Frequent routing can be added to the database to build up a user file to improve predictions. This could include time of day, traffic inputs and weather conditions.

Airmax demonstrates huge potential for fuel savings for minimal investment

Technology enabling vehicles to ‘see’ beyond the horizon through the use of internet-enabled mobile phone communications, GPS and advanced mapping data has been demonstrated recently. By integrating these modules with the car’s own hybrid control system, Airmax predicts that fuel savings of between 5 and 24 per cent are possible at very modest cost.

New embedded, non in-vehicle screen based applications such as adaptive or intelligent speed or rev’ control will change the traditional thinking on driver behaviour monitoring as it renders it unnecessary.

How do they do this? By getting out on the road and capturing the reality of the road network to enable dynamic turn-by-turn routing. A great example of how much data is collected is given for one single day: 12 million signage images, two million panoramic images, a trillion LIDAR points, and 65 million million (65,000,000,000,000!) colour pixels.

So finally its little wonder that Overunity is not appearing on anyone’s radar. One reason is that all the big hitters are rapidly becoming every day
