Diagnostic tests are conducted to ascertain where the problem lies and solutions through counselling sessions are offered. These sessions help students adjust
better and also perform better. These Counselling Sessions are also provided to the senior most classes. Tests are conducted from time to time to judge and ascertain each child's aptitude and students are then counseled on the options available.
For many students, the boarding experience is a first. So issues like home – sickness, adjustment, behavioural and emotional problems are common. A trained counsellor along with school staff helps students to be happy, comfortable and well – adjusted.
Those with difficulties in attention spans, learning and concentration and also suffering from stress and anxiety are dealt with to relieve all these problems.
Children frequently proceed on trips and excursions. So far, school groups have visited Mashobra, Narkanda and Manali, More recently Mumbai and Goa. The bonding that emerges between students and teachers during these trips – draws both closer and forges a better understanding. Local visits to various places like the Regional Science Centre, Fire Station, Museums and the Zoo are also arranged both for pleasure and also to educate.
Counseling Sessions
Outbound Activities
SRMPS students undergo a sea change in their personality, communication skills, confidence and smartness from the time they enter the portals of the school until they step out into the future. This transformation is a result of carefully designed activities, workshops, competitions, excursions and events. Students are given responsibilities which they are expected to handle independently. High standards are expected and more often than not, they exceed our expectations.

If there is one activity in which every student of the school is actively engaged, it is sports. SRMPS boasts of two playgrounds, badminton and volleyball courts, along with facilities for Basketball, Football, Cricket, Judo, Athletics, Table Tennis and Swimming. The school has an indoor sports building and a swimming pool and specialized coaches are hired to train children. In the past few years the school Athletics, Volleyball and Swimming teams have qualified for CBSE Nationals. Our school is now one of the hosts for CBSE Cluster meets and this year we hosted CBSE Cluster IV Football Tournament.
Outdoor
Sports
Our school also provides the facility of art of living which is too vital these days. During examinations children bear lot of stress and burden of studies but our school provides the facility of art of living which curbs their tension, thus, enabling them to live in a better environment and relaxed atmosphere.
Art of living
Celebrations & festivalsEvery Festival is celebrated with traditional fanfare and gusto at SRMPS. The significance of festivals like Dussehra or Idul Fitr or Guru Nanak Jayanti are discussed in the School Assembly through power point presentations. Soft boards are prepared to depict information pertaining to these festivals. And children look forward to all celebrations be it Matki Phod event or Ganesh Chaturthi or burning the effigy of Ravana on Dussehra, making rakhis on Rakshabandhan or singing carols on Christmas.
17
18
The school has its own fleet of buses and vehicles which ply through various parts of Lucknow and Barabanki. Day scholars and staff from all corners of the city are picked up and dropped by school transport.
TransportationThe school has an infirmary staffed by a full time nurse and visiting doctors for treating students who are unwell. A special tie – up with a nearby hospital, ensures that children receive medical attention round the clock. Dental and eye check – up are conducted from time to time.

Shri Ramswaroop Memorial Public School encourages all meritorious students to unleash their potential giving them the opportunity through Smt. Nirmala Agarwal Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is a tribute to Late Smt. Nirmala Agarwal, whose dream we aspire to turn into reality with a vision in mind and tears in the eyes.
The school management feels that due to financial constrains, intelligent students should not be deprived of quality education. Therefore, every year it conducts scholarship tests for deserving candidates from classes KG to IX. The scholarship is in two slabs – 25% and 30% of the Annual Tuition Fee, dependent solely on merit.
This scholarship serves as an incentive and motivating factor for all the aspiring as well as current students at SRMPS.
Scholarships
NOTE: The school has an unquestionable right to withdraw the scholarship if the student does not meet up to its expectations. The parent should comply with the school rules and regulations for renewal of the scholarship for consecutive academic years.
Late Smt. Nirmala Agarwal
(1956-2004)

The new academic session begins in end March or early April every year. Students who have attended recognized schools which teach in English or are able to receive instructions through the medium of English at their level, are considered for admission.
Admission forms are available from the month of December. Entrance tests and Interviews are conducted by the school every year in the months of February-March. Guidelines for the entrance test and sets of old Entrance Exam papers are made available in the school office. Parents of the aspirants for admission in the particular class should prepare accordingly.
Assessment for admissions is normally made on the basis of the cumulative marks in the written test and interview. Siblings of present students are however given weightage. Admission may be closed at any time at the discretion of the school management.
