INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

The procedure for disconnecting the negative cablefrom the battery varies according to the vehicle. Foryour safety refer to service information.

2. Remove the passenger’s under cover, and unplugthe vehicle connector, if equipped.

10. Turn the steering wheel 90° clockwise. Using aplastic trim tool, release one retaining tab.

58. Pull away the door opening seal, and line up the mark on the front door sill trim with the center of the cutout of the vehicle panel.

59. Attach the front door sill trim to the vehicle panel by removing two adhesive backings and pressing on the trim firmly with your hands.

67. Using scissors, cut the urethane tape in half, and attach one piece around the front door sill trim 2-pin connector.

79. Line up the left rear door sill trim with the masking tape.
80. Attach the left rear door sill trim to the vehicle panel by removing the adhesive backing and pressing on the trim firmly with your hands.

vehicle.

83. Check that all wire harnesses are routed properlyand all connectors are plugged in.84. Install all removed parts.85. Connect the negative cable to the battery.86. Press and hold the audio unit power button for 2
seconds to restore the audio and navi (if equipped) system functions.
87. Set the clock.88. If necessary, restore the systems back to normal
operation as described in the service information.

89. Make sure the front door sill trim comes on when you open each door.
