The Gods are looking down from Mount Olympus. They watch the humansbeneath them as they squabble, fall in love, cheat, show great courageand make war on one another. Rather like the Gods themselves! These family favourites include King Midas, Perseus and Andromeda,Orpheus and Eurydice, and Theseus and the Minotaur. In a series of short plays we see the famous myths of Ancient Greeceplayed out before us with action, colour, energy, pathos and humour. These mostly well-known stories become an array of voices: gods andmortals, Apollo with a ventriloquist's dummy and Icarus mimickingaeroplane noises as he flies.
