Location
Program Purpose This program will provide the latest evidence based strategies and treatment modalities for pediatric and adult patients who have traumatic injuries or complex medical diagnoses and disease processes. Sessions will include case studies on medical diagnoses and trauma care, mass causality, gender identity and the opioid crisis in pain management. Objectives: Participants will review the latest treatment modalities for several patient populations with traumatic or complex medical diagnoses, including pediatric and adult patients.
Continuing Education Credits *University of MI Health System Professional De-velopment & Education is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the Ameri-can Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. (OBN-001-91).
The potential for up to 14 nursing contact hours will be provided. nursing credit certificates will be distributed through the online process only, e-mail addresses are required. Application for EMS credits has been submitted to
include credits for all levels.
Participants are required to attend entire session
and complete a program evaluation.
