Welcome to Second Grade!· I will introduce you to

homework almost every night.· You can check the status of your student’s

missing/completed homework assignments on the Clarity portal.

Classroom Expectations

· School starts at 7:50 children should come to school on time and ready to learn. · Children should come to school with their purple folder, planner and completed homework. · On PE days, children should come to school with the

appropriate footwear.· On library days children should come to school with all

their library books to return or renew.· Snack in the morning @ Centers.· Any Dismissal information that varies from normal

routines needs to be communicated in writing.

Classroom Expectations

· Birthdays: If you would like for your child’s classmates to be invited to a private party. Please give any invitations to your child’s friends directly (not in classroom). It is best to keep invitations outside the classroom so that feelings do not get hurt if a child is left out. No edible birthday treats at school.

· Classroom Helpers: These have been assigned on the job chart. I will change these regularly.

· News: I will post a monthly newsletter on my website and email you…please provide updated email address.
