The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act requires institutions to give timely warnings of crimes that represent a threat to the safety of students or employees. In compliance with the Clery Act, Stony Brook University Police has completed its Annual Security Report. The report is available at stonybrook.edu/police/annual-security-report or a hard copy may be requested from the Offi ce of the Chief of Police at (631) 632-6350 or the Department of Human Resources at (631) 632-6161.
The Advisory Committee on Campus Safety and/or the University Police Department will provide upon request all campus crime statistics as reported to the United States Department of Education. The United States Department of Education website for campus crimes is ope.ed.gov/security.
