Ust – Kara is the best village in our region. I live in a small village called Ust – Kara. It is

not very old. It’s the farthest village in Nenetz autonomic region* near the North Sea*. 700 people live in my village. There is a post office where we buy newspapers every morning. I go to school, which is in the middle of the village. The houses are not very big in Ust – Kara. Winters are severe*, but in summer the tundra is very beautiful. There are a lot of flowers. I like my village.
