One-day recertification workshop each serve an average of 25 park, campground, YMCA, school, apartment complex and hotel professionals who apply pesticides (chlorine, bactericides, etc.) to any public or commercial swimming pool and are currently certified. Core portion of workshop focuses on pesticide safety, federal and state laws, toxicity, health issues, and emergencies, along with pesticide formulations, labels, and environmental effects allows participants earn six core and four category 24 credits (recertification is required every 3 years). prps.org/aquatics
