CHAPTER QUESTIONS
The following pages are activities you can
use with each chapter. These pages will
check student comprehension and help
students remember what happened in each
chapter.
Suggested use:
I copy these in a stapled packet. I read
each chapter with my class. We read and
answer the questions together. Before
reading the next chapter, I have students
look over the previous page to remember
what happened.
Another use:
Have students read each chapter in a
reading group. Students answer
questions together and review them
before moving on to the next chapter.
** NOTE: There are answers at the end of this section. **

CHAPTER ACTIVITIES
The following pages are activities you can
use with each chapter. My students love
these and I enjoy seeing their
interpretations of the story.
Suggested use:
Read each chapter with your class. Have
students respond to the chapter. When
complete, have students share their
pictures with the class. I find they typically
work neater if they anticipate sharing their
work!
Another use:
Have students read each chapter in a
reading group. Students share their work
with the group before moving
on to the next chapter.
