Q: What version of S/4 is the demo?
A: It is S/4 1911 but it does not matter. The code line is the same between ECC and S/4. S/4 just provides the new Fiori apps.
Q: Can you view reminder when you are not in a specific contract screen?
A: The contract data is actually not displayed in C4RE nor is the contract data captured in C4RE. What is happening is the customer is jumping into S/4 to view/maintain the contract. Therefore, you can use the standard Fiori screen to see contract specific examples or go into S/4 and view all of the reminders for the portfolio using standard contract management reports.
Q: The documents being accessed (for example the contract for building POTS04 in the demo), physical contracts, pdf’s, etc.; where are these stored? Can they be accessed via an ECM System, e.g. OpenText?
A: This again goes back to the architecture question. The contract is within S/4 so all contract data would be attached to the contract object within S/4. The customer would then be able to leverage their current document management solution. If attaching a document within C4RE, such as a floor plan, that document would be attached to the floor in C4RE and would be stored in the cloud. Therefore, the customer would only be able to access these documents through C4RE.

Q: Does C4RE integrated into PM in S4 on premise?
A: It can connect to PM. Here is a link to the available C4RE integrations.
Q: What is the cost and how long does implementation take? Any conversion technicalities to take into account?
A: Please work with your local SAP Services team to determine as this is dependent on a large number of factors.
Q: For workspace management/location management – is it easy to upload CAD images and floor plans?
A: Standard functionality within C4RE does not offer CAD integration functionality. That functionality can be provided by a partner solution named KORASOFT. However, we do offer as standard what we believe are next generation options such as machine learning where a PDF can be loaded on a floor and our machine learning algorithm will detect the different rooms and create them based ontheir measurements. The customer is also able to assign a pdf of the floor and manually polyline the rooms. We have found that most customers do not have accurate as built drawings of their buildings and they needed a more flexible approach.

Q: Does desk allocation in workspace management work the same as WayFinder? Can it be used for an agile office where staff can sit at any desk?
A: We do not offer wayfinding functionality within C4RE. However, you are able to allocate flexible and fixed seating arrangements.
Q: Does contract management cater for multiple water and electricity reading/meterage which differs each month?
A: Meter readings can be assigned to a rental object and these are meter readings can then be used in allocations. C4RE does not currently support this functionality.
