Synopsis

Genghis Kahn built an empire that spanned vast regions in East Asia and East Europe. And there was one woman who held immense power in the Yuan Dynasty, which Genghis Khan founded, for 37 years. She was neither of Mongol descent nor from the Han Chinese. She came from Goryeo, a small kingdom in the Far East. She was taken to Mongol against her will as a gong-nyeo (貢女) but somehow overcame her lowly status to become an empress in another land. Her name was Empress Ki.

成吉思汗建立了横跨东亚和东欧的庞大帝国。而一个女人在长达三十七年的时间里撼动他创建的元朝。她不是蒙古族，也不是汉族，而是位于元朝边疆的高丽女人。她以高丽贡女的身份被献上于元廷，靠着与生俱来的坚韧的心肠和明晰的头脑，克服命运的桎梏和难关，终于成为在幕后掌握元朝廷的奇皇后。

貢女にされることを避けるため、幼い時から男のように育てられた。辛苦をなめながら、炎のような決断力と氷のような判断力を身につける。天下無敵の女傑だが、その心の奥深くには女性としての情熱も熱く燃えたぎる。右手には剣を、左手には花を握りしめ、天下を目指す。

寄皇后 : 河智苑饰为不被捉去作贡女，从小就假扮男孩。历经百般艰险，锻炼出火爆的决断力和冷酷的判断力。但这个女豪杰的内心深处仍保留着身为女人的热情。她一手持刀，一手持花，统治天下。

Although she was born as a woman, she was raised as a boy to avoid being taken as gong-nyeo or tribute women to Yuan Empire. Going through hardships and trials in life, she naturally became equipped with a passionate drive and a cool-headed judgment. However, underneath her iron-maiden appearance, she hides a woman’s passion and yearning for love. With a sword in one hand and a flower in another, she starts to conquer the world.

Ki Seung nyang

順帝：俳優　チ・チャンウク

明宗の長男として生まれ、皇太弟の身分であるにもかかわらず、権臣の勢力拡大により皇位を弟に奪われ、高麗に島流しされるなど、幼い時から辛苦をなめる。権臣から命を守るために幼稚にふるまうが、内面には激しい怒りを抱えている。

顺帝 : 池昌旭饰生 为 明 宗 的 长 子 ， 身 为 皇 太 弟 ， 但 因 为 权 臣 得势，被弟弟夺去王位后流放到高丽，从小就历经磨难。为了保住性命，故意装作不懂事，但内心充满愤怒。

Actor Ji Chang wook

Though he is a rightful heir to the imperial throne as the first son of Kusala, he was banished to Goryeo in his childhood and his younger half-brother became the emperor. To avoid being killed by high-ranking ministers he pretended to be a fool but inside he was full of rage.

Togon temur

忠恵王：俳優　チュ・ジンモ

元の政治的支配下にある高麗の独立を目指し、元と対抗する気概あふれる聡明な高麗の28代王。元の皇帝順帝と政治的に対立する。また、奇皇后をめぐり三角関係になる。

忠惠王 : 朱镇模饰为让处于元朝政治支配之下的高丽成为独立自主的国家，与元朝抗衡，是充满英雄气概而聪慧睿智的高丽第二十八代国王，在政治上与元朝皇帝顺帝对立，并围绕奇皇后形成三角关系。

Actor Joo Jin mo

Goryeo was a vassal state of the Yuan Empire when King Chunghye, the 28th Goryeo king, was in power, and it was he who paved the way to make Goryeo an independent kingdom again. He was brave and smart, and in a constant struggle against the Yuan Emperor (Togon-temur). He also becomes involved in a love triangle with Empress Ki and the emperor.
