Children and Young People

1. Provide a further six play facilities and one facility for young people in Towcester over the growth period. Provide a new play area in northern Brackley and a facility for young people in West Brackley

2. Provide support to Parish Councils to provide new play areas in rural settlements (where demand is identified)

3. Coordinate activities at parks and green spaces across the district

4. Consider increased implementation of mobile skatepark

Healthier Communities and Older People

1. Encourage recreational walking and cycling through a promotional campaign targeting all sectors of the community

2. Address quantitative deficiencies in playing pitch provision across the district

3. Undertake consultation on demand for allotments, particularly in West Brackley and N, S and E Towcester

4. Secure community use of school facilities for informal recreation purposes, particularly in schools highlighted as the only form or recreational open space in the village

1. Working with Community Safety Partnership to help implement their strategy to improve the quality of green space sites

2. Provide opportunities for sustainable transport through the development of safe and accessible cycling routes and footpaths

3. Enhance quality by supporting providers of sites where quality site assessment scores fall below 70%

4. Develop a formal park in Towcester
