The conversation between Allah and Musa عليه ,is something so precious and confidential السالم

and Allah discloses it for us. If we had witnessed it we would have been overwhelmed, but Allah tell us the whole situation in detail. Imagine this.

For something so important, there must be some preparation, so Allah did not tell Musa عليه السالم straight away, but prepared him for his mission.

First, Allah introduced Himself. The ayaat 14-16 are أسس الرسالة, the foundation of the message.

They are ↘ ↘🔺 ▶ التوحيد the oneness of Allah

🔺 ▶ الصالة the prayer

🔺 ▶ الساعة the Day of Judgement

Before his great mission, Musa عليه السالم had to have a strong foundation of belief, the fundamental principles. Tawheed is the basis of your belief. Salaah is your connection with Allah. To help you stay on the straight path, the Day of Judgement must be clear before your eyes.

Now Allah gives the main message, the foundation. This is the beginning of the inspiration. It wasn't a dream, Allah spoke to him. Allah first introduced Himself as the Rabb, the Nurturer. This was to prepare the heart. The Rabb whom you should attach to is Allah, the only One you should devote yourself to. When you know the actions of Allah, all your actions will be for Him alone, even the feelings of your heart.

Misery is to be the slave of someone rather than Allah, and happiness is to be His slave. Then you are not worried about anyone else, and do everything for Allah alone. Whenever anything happens, attribute it to Allah, so that your heart automatically loves Him. Don't waste your time, actions and feelings for anyone rather than Allah. To remember the Creator is happiness. Remove all other attachments. As a reflection, think of the night; in the darkness, you can see the stars and the moon. Whatever situation Allah puts you in, use it to worship Him. In a study circle, listen, learn, and ask Allah to guide you. At home, be grateful and patient. Before sleeping, ask Allah to protect you, and send His mercy on you. Eat and drink to obey the command of Allah.

Allah spoke to Musa عليه السالم, but we all benefit.

Now the message becomes more specific. Salaah is your connection with Allah, it is when you speak to Him. The Messenger of Allah صلى اهلل عليه و سلم was taken to the Night Journey to be given the command of salaah. Musa was taken to the valley of Tuwa for it. The salaah is a blessing. The word صالة itself means connection.

As soon as you say Allahu Akbar, you are in a meeting with Allah, and the tasleem ends the meeting. The word means to establish the salaah, which is one of the pillars of faith. Make your salaah upright, not limping or أقمblind, make your connection as perfect as you can. If you are distracted, you are only connected. You have to establish this connection with your full attention, and the presence of your heart. This is a struggle, so that no one is confident and feels self sufficient. Our guilt at the imperfection of our salaah makes us slaves of Allah.

When you say Allahu Akbar at the onset of the salaah, you are reminding yourself that no one is greater than Allah in your life, pushing everything else away. In ruku' you are bowing down to magnify Allah. In sujood, you are placing your face on the floor, before the One who rose over the throne, but is still closer to you than your jugular vein. When you stand in salaah, with your hands folded on your chest, this position shows your servitude to Allah. To make your salaah perfect, leave everything that is not you concern or it will keep coming in your mind when you pray. We can't do this ourselves, we have to ask Allah for help.

This is the main purpose of salaah, the remembrance of Allah. All the rituals of the religion, are for the remembrance of Allah. When you remember Allah, He remembers you; this is the biggest reason for worship. The remembrance of Allah is happiness, and leaving it is misery.

The remembrance of Allah is a remedy, and the remembrance of anyone rather than Allah is a sickness.

The prayer is exclusively to remember Allah. If you pray well, it stops you from immorality and sins.

The greater wisdom is the remembrance of Allah, the other benefits are less. Remembering Allah must take precedence. Don't bring science into worship, because it can change your intention.

Recite, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which

Remembering the Day of Judgement makes you keep up with your salaah.

The person who always thinks of dunya will never be satisfied. If you make your concern the akhirah, and the meeting with Allah, then He will take care of all your concerns. Worrying about problems will not make them go away, so instead think of something which is important. The Day of Judgement, الساعة, الطامة, القارعة, the Hour, the Calamity, the Catastrophe. This is worthy of your worry and fear. Ask yourself, what will you do if the angels of death come to you right now?? You don't own anything, not even the clothes on your body; they will be taken away when you die.

When you are concerned with the akhirah, Allah will take care of your dunya, because you will be concerned with an important thing. Don't let anything distract you from your concern of the akhirah.

Whoever is focused only on this world, Allah will confound his affairs and make him fear poverty constantly, and he will not get anything of this world except that which has been decreed for him. Whoever is focused on the Hereafter, Allah will settle his affairs for him and make him feel content with his lost, and his provision and

worldly gains will undoubtedly come to him.
