Accessing information using the AUT Library Catalogue (OPAC), periodical indexes such as CINAHL, and searching the Internet.

The use of Blackboard and the development of online courses.

The Activity:

For this activity, you are required to create an online study guide for the history of Nursing. Your study guide will be developed using Blackboard in the U.S.A. 

Your study guide should contain at least 10 items on the above topic including:

2 items from the AUT Library Catalogue

2 items from electronic databases such as CINAHL

2 web pages

You must also put a couple of sentences about this activity under Course Information and about yourself under Staff Information.

Create a login code for BLACKBOARD

Create a new Blackboard course

Remove extraneous buttons

Prepare source material

Put source material into BLACKBOARD

Make course available

Enrol student AUTHN1 into the course
