Focus on following points for smooth installation of Zyxel MAX 218MW.

Gateway To Access CPE Open web browser, type http://192.168.5.1:8080.in the address bar Enter the username as “user” and password “1234” without quotes.

Authentication Process Enter your account credentials in the device. Go to “Wimax Tab” and select “Profile”.

Authentication Process On profile page please click on “Authentication Setting” Tab Enter your username and password provided to you and Save.

Authentication ProcessNow please reboot the device either by powering off/on the device or by rebooting from the software by selecting “Reboot” from “Maintenance” TAB

RF Values-Necessary Details Go to “Wimax Tab” and select “Link Status”. CINR is “CINR R1”.

Wi-Fi Security SettingSecurity setting can be modified by selecting “Network Setting” tab and click on “WLAN”

Wi-Fi Security Setting Device is preconfigured with a unique SSID and password. The default SSID of

the device is Qubee-<last four digits of LAN MAC> and password is Wi-Fi<last four digit of LAN MAC>

 You can find the device MAC address on the label at the back of your device the valid MAC will be “LAN MAC”. Or from the web GUI “System Status” Tab

In this example the SSID will be Qubee-188E with password wifi188E.

Wi-Fi Security SettingModify Wi-Fi password or SSID please select “WLAN” from “Network Setting”.The device assigns LAN IP via DHCP server so please make sure that your LAN setting are set for “Automatically Assigned IP Address” in TCP/IP settings for both LAN and WLAN.
